@FlatsFarmer the beaches are good, reefs probably better in Vanuatu by all accounts. The people here are freaking amazing though. So friendly it isn’t funny.

Step-ups with 15 kg DBs
2 minutes, swapped leg every 30 seconds
Cable single leg standing hamstring curl
1x50x45 lbs each leg - these were shitty
Pull-ups
30 total reps: 6xwide, 6xclose, 2x5xpalms facing, 4xclose, 4xwide
Single arm cable row
2x15x100 lbs - kind of like a more upright DB row, which is what these replaced
Lying leg raise
1x50: 15, 10, 15,
Glad to be going back to Elite next week. I miss bars and DBs. Did pretty well though considering I think.

Question @Reed @Sturat @corstijeir you’re the main geared guys on here I know. I’m curious about something: would a raw bencher, with a 308 lbs max benefit from a reverse band two board press using a Slingshot-a-like for their max effort work? Apparently the setup worked out as 462 lbs on the bar with 66 lbs in band tension giving 396 lbs at the top.
Only if your lockout sucks super hard. And as a raw bencher the final lockout shouldn’t ever really be an issue.
Personally I feel for raw that’s a bit too much assistance.
Reverse bands and sling shots both have their place but mixing the two
isn’t ideal.
If you use it sparingly it could help you get used to heavier weights but I
don’t feel there’s a direct carry over.
In my opinion absolutely not.
Thanks guys. I suspected as much. Same guy wears a belt, mouthguard, wrist wraps and elbow sleeves to do 25 lbs DB flyes so I was fairly sure it was BS for ego but I wanted to be sure.
