Yes, you’re right. It is still easy to get away with smoking as a hobby. Without getting into a shpeal and sounding like a really big stoner, it’s just too bad the governments don’t see the opportunity for profity that they have in front of them. Yeah, tax the hell out of weed, I don’t give a shit! I’ll still buy from the government — You’d never get cheated, it’d always be extremely high grade chronic (unless they made welfare weed, hahaha…) and you’d NEVER have to worry about getting caught with that shit.

They would probably sell it in different grades. Grade C would probably be extremely expensive and barely get you high. Grade A would get you high buy unaffordable to the average user.
This post doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Were you by any chance high when you wrote it?

People kill themselves through self abuse.

I read your responses and I think your strawman arguements are weak and pathetic.

Yes you who has smoked a couple times is much more credible then long term users, and tons of scientific research? Guess what marijuana is 90% legal here in california and well nothing has really changed, besides it being all around safer for everyone.
DanErickson wrote:
1. Marijuana causes brain damage
It is obvious that it does damage the brain since when I or anybody I know who has smoked it admits they are slower the next day. I myself and others who have abused it have also admitted that our memories are not as good.
Short term impairment. Key word there is abused. Alchohol does the same thing.
2. Marijuana damages the reproductive system
NOt sure about this one… maybe I didn’t smoke it long enough to find out.
Studies have shown it can increase sperm count. And no damage has ever been proven.
3. Marijuana is a “gateway” drug-it leads to hard drugs
Fuck yes it is a gateway drug. When you smoke weed you start hanging out with other people who smoke weed. Those people either do other drugs or know people who do other drugs. Everybody knows you are only as good as the company that you keep.
that because by making the drug illegal and spreading myths about it, in the minds of first time uneducated users, heroin can’t be that bad either. Right?
4. Marijuana suppresses the immune system
Interestingly, two studies done in 1978 and one done in 1988 showed that hashish and marijuana may have actually stimulated the immune system in the people studied.

Your breathing in toxic smoke, WHY WOULDN’T IT STIMULATE YOUR IMUNE SYSTEM?
Brownies, Vaporizers. Really, smoking is not the only way.

5. Marijuana is much more dangerous than tobacco

Smoked marijuana contains about the same amount of carcinogens as does an equivalent amount of tobacco.

Everybody and their mother knows that Marijuana has way more tar than cigarettes especially when smoked without a filter.
Then WHY SMOKE IT?! They made Vaporizers for that reason. Or eat the damn hash!
6. Legal marijuana would cause carnage on the highways

I won’t even dignify this by responding…
No, please do. I don’t know about you, but when I’m high, the last thing I think about is driving.
8. Marijuana is more potent today than in the past

This myth is based on bad data??
Anybody who knows ANYTHING at all about Marijuana knows that it is more potent today than in the past. Ask anybody who is as old as your parents if weed is stroner now then it was and they alwawys say yes. Not only that but there are botonists that breed strains togeather to make them stronger and they advertise this in magazines where you can buy the seeds for goodness sakes! What an obvious lie. I remember when the strain AK-47 came about. Fellow marijuana growers almost shit themselves when they saw it boasted 23% thc content when grown under near perfect conditions! I seriously can’t believe these people are trying to lie like this…
I’ll be looking into this. The strongest weed however was always ‘American Cannabis’.
9. Marijuana impairs short-term memory

I agree with this one.
As will I.
11. There are over a thousand chemicals in marijuana smoke

No idea.
It’s true. I can quote numbers about the products for sale on this site, and by manipulating the wording I can make them sound bad too.
12. No one has ever died of a marijuana overdose

No idea.
Then why comment? But from various sources, I can gather that this is true. If you don’t believe me, I’m sure Google will help you out there.
DanErickson wrote:

What, sugar or weed? You just said you don’t know about marijuana overdose, so should I assume you meant sugar?
DanErickson wrote:

Masturbation?

Ha. Sorry, I really had to jump on that one.

Why do I think of Jessica Alba when I look at your avatar? That ass looks familiar…

Because it’s the greatest picture of Jessica Alba (if that was possible) ever, with Eva Longoria on the right and Slut-Bitch Lohan in the middle… could’ve done without that. A nice rack shot would have been sufficient, though.

This thread makes me want to try weed.

back in my childhood days I was a smoker.

I keep seeing things floating around like overdosing and abuse.

there was times when I smoked myself sober.I never died nor did I cause any sort of damage.
if I was drinking or doing some other drug in the same way I am sure I would have died or close to it.

all I know is my entire family are for the legalisation of marijuana.
my grandfather grew it and smoked it untill his death.
it was the only medicine that helped him not hurt from years of physical abuse.
my grandmother and uncle grow it and smoke there own to this day. grandmother is a cancer patient and instead of doing the treatments to prolong her misery a few more years she smokes and it helps her feel better.

she told me once because I asked about her growing and she said “let them throw me in prison I dont care I am an old dieing lady all I have to do is not take a heart pill and I have won” I am not a drug addict and I do not sell to anybody.
I grow my own pot like I grow my own food,it is to sustain my life.

everyone I know are responsible smokers
never have anyone i know stolen or lied or done anything not moral besides breaking the law to obtain there weed.

it has so many wonderful uses that people took advantage of until it was baned by the government.

then again modern man screws everythig up
and i mean everything
tabacco was a wonderful plant also.had healing powers that rivaled any modern pharm. modern man added chemicals and now tabacco will without a doubt kill you
there is a plant here called mormon tea it is chalk full of ephedra which helped ward off hunger and helped you warm up while out hunting and was wonderful
man made ehedrine then turned into meth and other like products and they kill people.

people make great things bad its not the natural plants themselves.

Any smart drug use is fine, some people smoke several packs a day and never get lung cancer and live till their 90’s some die young. Most smokers don’t get lung cancer and die. Any drug in safe responsible moderation is safe really.

If you are going to look into the the strength content I would recommend getting books by Mel Gibbon and Ed Rosenthal.

Ed Rosenthal has a lot to with the fact weed is more potent now and is a world renowned expert on breeding. Mel Gibson is a world renowned expert on growing and breeding.

Hehe, full of strawmans and assumptions. I love people like you. God bless!

HAHA hey everybody watch this link:

My new haircut: Stoner edition
Funny as hell!

The way I see it, there isn’t any substantial evidence that marijuana is bad for ya. So why not legalize it?

It’s like giving someone a knife. In the right hands, it can make many people happy by creating artwork and masterpieces and delicious food.

In the wrong hands, it can cause a lot of lives being lost.

Weed is no different.

heres some fun facts:

up to an ounce of marijuana is a civil penalty in MA w/ a fine.

Blunt wraps and dutches are banned in my city.

Wait, how is something 90% legal?

“Yea, it’s illegal 10% of the time! We won’t bust ya unless we’re having a bad day.”
