They’re pretty fucking good for sure… them and Peter Tosh, you got one chilled-out reggae party.
Nice pick on the Ravi Shankar, Mak.
One thing ive been thinking about lately is how it would work as an industry if it does get legalized. Would you guys want it to be like cigs, where u can go to ur gas station or wherever and buy a pack of Purple Haze cigs.
Or like the medical marijuana dispensaries that they have now, where u go in and buy your choice of whatever.
My opinion:
Stupidity and addiction, to any kind of substance, lies not in the substance itself, but in the mind of the individual. IF you haven`t noticed, there is a serious sugar addiction ravaging some countries nowadays, and the addicted turn into fat slobs chained to their couches.

Well the thing is is that they probably couldn’t be like cigarettes. Once marijuana is able to be dispensed at different places, where subjective pricing can occur, the power is out of their hands.
In the debate for legalization, it’s basically understood that for it to happen a government (state / fed) would have to have jurisdiction over all distrubtion and handling of weed, to help secure profit and less black-market sales of product.
I think just to be able to grow your own would be awesome. You would be sure the effects you feel would be from marijuana.

I love you guys. I mean in a totally non-gay way. Man this music is freaking AWESOME. Man I would so bone Norah Jones in a heartbeat.
Hey Mak, and all the other ganjabrethren,
Do you use a vaporizer or just standard tokeage procedures, ie: joint/pipe/bong? That is the way to go, but my fundage is a joke still while back at school etc., so I still just hit the ol pipe or j.
This is a great thread btw. I still toke, but nowhere near the pre-middle age amounts I used to inhale, lol.
Matter of fact, getting ready for a nice spin on the Cannondale, and a few pulls before and after the ride right now.
Peace out,
ToneBone

I’ve been wanting to try a vaporizer. My friend works at a club where they have one but I hit this giant bong instead and after sampling a few goodies, I’m stoned out of my mind. Its hard not over do it when I’m there lol.
I thought a vaporizer would be better for my lungs, but that Volcano is just way to expensive.
Do you guys have your cards? With that card Cali becomes better than Amsterdam. I live in weed heaven.

Dispensaries. I don’t always smoke my weed, not now that I have a vaporizer. I think a good idea is to promote Vaporizers too, because promoting another type of cigarette won’t win over many people.

This is true. You have to wonder why they don’t declare sugar to be a controlled substance, given that it actually kills people.

Vaporizer and brownies are my methods right now. I found that smoking a joint was too much hassle for me. I’d get to a stage of being stoned where I was like “fuck it” and I’d stop toking.
I still pull out the ol’ bong though. But that’s only with my GF.

I actually considered moving to Cali after I saw ‘Super High Me’!

Could you post your recipe ?
I don’t remember where I got this from.
You need:
Weigh out 5g
Grind the 5g
Measure out the cooking oil as per brownie mix recipe
Pour oil into saucepan and heat at medium low for about 60 seconds
Add ganga
Stir for about 20-25 minutes. Aim for less than a simmer. Too high a temperature and you will boil and burn the oil, too low and you won’t extract any THC. When you’re done, the oil will turn dark brown. Let it cool.
After cooling, filter the oil through the coffee filter into the measuring cup. Scrape out every last bit of oil with a teaspoon!
Dump the mix into a big bowl, and add the required amount of water (about 3 tablespoons)
Add the oil!
Add two eggs and mix for a few minutes.
Add every last piece of batter to the brownie pan and stick that bad boy in the oven!
If you need instruction as to what to do now, you must be already stoned. If your still clueless, I’ll tell you… you eat the brownies.
Marijuna is legal practically here in california, you can get a club card getting all the free high quality weed you want very easily. They hand them out for the most bs reasons, anyone can get one. So yeah california is like stoner heaven for anyone living in america.

Yeah, as for me, I generally try to stay away from paper as much as I can… so that pretty much includes blunts and joints. I’m not stingy, though, if anyone has a big spliff sitting around I’m not going to refuse it. I just feel that much bigger, cleaner, and better tasting rips can be had from a pipe, bong, or vapo.
I do have a small, shitty vaporizer, but barely use it. A few of my friends have a Volcano, but I definitely can’t justify spending almost $600 on a smoking device, hahaha.
I know Cali is fucking great, and some stuff rolls out sometimes from there, but I’m not sure if it beats Amsterdam, haha. I will say almost conclusively that Amerstam, Cali, and BC are probably the Top 3 places in the world of ganj.
Let’s keep this thread rollin’! (Pun heavily intended.)

Common Marijuana Myths Debunked
1. Marijuana causes brain damage
It is obvious that it does damage the brain since when I or anybody I know who has smoked it admits they are slower the next day. I myself and others who have abused it have also admitted that our memories are not as good.
NOt sure about this one… maybe I didn’t smoke it long enough to find out.
Fuck yes it is a gateway drug. When you smoke weed you start hanging out with other people who smoke weed. Those people either do other drugs or know people who do other drugs. Everybody knows you are only as good as the company that you keep.
Your breathing in toxic smoke, WHY WOULDN’T IT STIMULATE YOUR IMUNE SYSTEM?
Everybody and their mother knows that Marijuana has way more tar than cigarettes especially when smoked without a filter.
I won’t even dignify this by responding…
This myth is based on bad data??
Anybody who knows ANYTHING at all about Marijuana knows that it is more potent today than in the past. Ask anybody who is as old as your parents if weed is stroner now then it was and they alwawys say yes. Not only that but there are botonists that breed strains togeather to make them stronger and they advertise this in magazines where you can buy the seeds for goodness sakes! What an obvious lie. I remember when the strain AK-47 came about. Fellow marijuana growers almost shit themselves when they saw it boasted 23% thc content when grown under near perfect conditions! I seriously can’t believe these people are trying to lie like this…
I agree with this one.
No idea.
No idea.

Yes, you’re right. It is still easy to get away with smoking as a hobby. Without getting into a shpeal and sounding like a really big stoner, it’s just too bad the governments don’t see the opportunity for profity that they have in front of them. Yeah, tax the hell out of weed, I don’t give a shit! I’ll still buy from the government — You’d never get cheated, it’d always be extremely high grade chronic (unless they made welfare weed, hahaha…) and you’d NEVER have to worry about getting caught with that shit.
They would probably sell it in different grades. Grade C would probably be extremely expensive and barely get you high. Grade A would get you high buy unaffordable to the average user.

It is totally obvious, most of the discussio on this thread has been dumbed-down without any thought or logical concepts. Also, there’s a slew of scientific information to back up the claim that MJ causes brain damage… right? You yourself and your friends that have “abused” it clearly don’t have any sort of tolerance and haven’t tried it more than five times.
2. Marijuana damages the reproductive system
NOt sure about this one… maybe I didn’t smoke it long enough to find out.
This gives a lot of credibility to your first claim.
3. Marijuana is a “gateway” drug-it leads to hard drugs
Fuck yes it is a gateway drug. When you smoke weed you start hanging out with other people who smoke weed. Those people either do other drugs or know people who do other drugs. Everybody knows you are only as good as the company that you keep.
So what if we hang out with other people that smoke weed? Does that make them bad people? I have a lot of what you’d probably call “bummed-out potheads,” but it’s wierd, they go to school. They have jobs. They have family, friends that don’t smoke, and significant others. The craziest thing is is that they don’t do hard drugs! Wierd how that works! Another funny point: I don’t do any hard drugs and have been smoking on the upswing of 4-5 years. I guess I’m just an anomoly, huh?
What you said is about as dumb as saying “All bodybuilders will have bodybuilding friends, and they’ll go and do AAS together.”
4. Marijuana suppresses the immune system
Interestingly, two studies done in 1978 and one done in 1988 showed that hashish and marijuana may have actually stimulated the immune system in the people studied.
Your breathing in toxic smoke, WHY WOULDN’T IT STIMULATE YOUR IMUNE SYSTEM?
Toxic, that’s concise and accurate. I die every time I inhale.
5. Marijuana is much more dangerous than tobacco
Smoked marijuana contains about the same amount of carcinogens as does an equivalent amount of tobacco.
Everybody and their mother knows that Marijuana has way more tar than cigarettes especially when smoked without a filter.
Haha, first of all, what is “dangerous?” What does that imply? Life-time users have no history of lung, throat, or mouth cancer and not one death has been attributed to marijuana in the HISTORY of mankind. There’s been a few related to tobacco. So I guess everybody and their mothers are fucking retarded.
[quote/]6. Legal marijuana would cause carnage on the highways
I won’t even dignify this by responding…
Oh, thank God.
7. Marijuana “flattens” human brainwaves

This is one thing I can actually debate. A recent study has found that marijuana is much stronger today than it was 30 years ago. Funny thing is is that there’s still conclusive research that it’s STILL not bad for you physically, mentally, or socially.
9. Marijuana impairs short-term memory
I agree with this one.
Good reasoning. I was going to counter your point, but I forgot what I was going to say. (I totally just breathed in some TOXXXXIC smoke!)
10. Marijuana lingers in the body like DDT
11. There are over a thousand chemicals in marijuana smoke
No idea.
12. No one has ever died of a marijuana overdose
No idea.

So why did you decide to chime in if you’re ignorant to what we’re talking about?
