I know I’d be quite restless if I kept it. Plus, I haven’t earned that money, it’s not mine and this money was intended for someone else. I just couldn’t keep it and spend it.

Well said. “Restless” is exactly how I’d feel. But to be perfectly honest, If I was faced with that situation I’d be lucky to find the money in the first place.

This is really simple. It was owned by the guy who died. It goes to his relatives. End of story.

Everyone trying to justify it somehow - you know the rightful owner of the money. As a result, not giving it back is stealing. There’s no way around this.

And if you say you have no qualms about taking it, you’re seriously lacking in morality - time to re-examine your values.

Recently found 5 bucks (just the bill, no wallet). Kept it. Y’all mad?

Didja know who it belonged to?[/quote]

No.

Also, Money ain’t got no owners, only spenders.

Well, according to Karl Marx Jr up yonder ^ you should turn that $5 in to the city rather than put it in your Batman piggy bank in your closet. So it can help with our Gross Domestic Product.

LMAO Awesome

What if it was 200 grand? Or a million dollars?

How many of you would still return it? What’s your price?

A better question would be: how low does it have to be before all these self-righteous haters in here get up off your nuts? $20k? $1k? $50? $5? $0.50?

At what point do their morals just fly out the window and they’re not concerned about giving it back?

The only way I would keep that kind of money is if I didn’t know who it belonged to, simple as that.
