It matters where the act is finished (this is my person theological position, as there are two sides to the argument), if it is finished in the vag, then everything is good (as long as it is not outside the marriage). However, if you finish in her mouth, then no it is not okay.
With this logic, masturbation is a sin, no?
Yes.
Where does scripture say masturbation is a sin? In fact masturbation is “technically” only mentioned in one passage: Genesis 38:6-9

And this verse refers to Onan spilling his seed outside of Tamar’s body in order not to impregnate his brother’s widowed wife.

The body has the capability to regenerate sperm.

Do you think God expects man to completely hold in ALL sexual desires until marriage?
If by ‘hold in ALL sexual desires until marriage’ you mean not act on those sexual desires? Yes.
I disagree.

Show scripture that implies this.

The fact is you won’t find any. And I won’t find any to support my case either. Because the Bible is pretty silent on this matter. So I think we too should be. Masturbation is only a sin when it consumes you and you live your life for it. But the occasional “self-relief” is perfectly fine and prevents a build up of desire.

That’s actually not even why God was mad in that passage. He was mad at Onan because he was deliberately avoiding to impregnate his late brother’s wife as was his duty. He was using the the old ‘pull out’ method.
It never says anything about the ‘spilling of the seed’ outside of that one context.

BC is right on the church’s stance, be it realistic or not, it’s technically a boo boo, not a bad one, but still a sin. But I agree with you, there is no scripture that refers to it and prior to St. Augustine it wasn’t that big a deal. He really ratcheted down on anything that could even be remotely close to sexual immorality. Being a hoodlum and a convert, when he turned it around he completely 180’d from everything being ok, to nothing being ok.

Yeah, you may as well burn down a school or bludgeon a priest to death if you’re going to be sent to hell for cracking one off.

Just have to say…I find it hilarious how people are drawing strict lines around specific sexual behaviors that are or are not allowed, disagreeing with one another of course, and all using the very same bible.

When ya’all get it figured out, let us heathens know, ya hear?

You have to be the most disingenuous poster on TNation forlife. You’re current general misstatements and twisting of the truth fall in line with what you usually do.

The bible isn’t actually all that strict about sex to be perfectly honest. It certainly make no mention of spanking your monkey.
The sexual sins as per scripture are: adultery, homosexual sex, bestiality, incest (post Genesis), and anything bizarre. The last part is where the interpretations go wild. I have read nothing of stroking one off, blow jobs from your wife, spanking it and blowing it in your wife’s hair, lickin’ pussy, etc.
To be perfectly honest, with in the context of scripture alone there is not a lot prohibitive in scripture so long as the person you’re doing it is, is your spouse. Unless your David…

Well, if I am going to kill someone, it’s going to be someone in need of killin’ But I ain’t killing anybody, but I get your point. If I am going to take the highway to hell, I am going to do a proper job.

No incest, no homosexuality, no bestiality, no sodomy, no artificial birth control, no abortion, and no sex outside marriage this includes masturbation, as well, no lusting after anyone including your wife or neighbor’s wife.

If there’s ever a way to make a person who feels awful about themselves all the time, it’s telling them that they can’t jerk off, and if they even have a thought about their neighbor’s wife they go to hell. And yet the same churches shuffle around and protect pedophiles.

And then they wonder why the church coffers are empty these days.

Enjoy your clams cocksuckers.

I don’t think you actually investigated the teachings of the Catholic Church, or the Catholic Church, or you’re being deliberately ignorant of the fact that your statement is incorrect. Is there something else that is bothering you?
