These felt really good. Pain in my left delt/left upper bicep was minimal. It acually went away totally when I got to the heavy lifts.

First two sets felt great. Second set, I felt this sharp, wierd spasm through my left front delt and upper left bicep. Stopped there, and did a bunch of band pressing, band flies, and band curls to get some blood into the area. Not exactly sure what the hell the problem is with this.

On the whole a good session. Just got to get my left bi/delt figured out and things will be good.
Felt better this night. Bar path felt good and 500 is starting to feel “rep-able” again. I was wanting more reps out of 405, but the bar rolled back on my fingers towards the end and I decided to rack it rather than get halfway through a rep and ditch it. I think I may rep 405 fresh next time and see how it goes.
I tried for 4 here, but stoped myself when I felt I started to hitch. Only way to break this habbit is to never do it I think.

In an attempt to up the wieght, I just looped some chains around my wrist. I doubt I will do this again as it was uncomfortable as hell. Narration by my training buddy. We have had rather hectic schedules of late, and most of our training has been on our own for a while. It was a bit of luck that we ran into each other there.

This video really shows just how uncoordinated I am. The only way I can figure this is that I have always been right handed, and my left one just does not cooperate. Its not a huge deal though, as I think this movement may have run its course for the time being.

These 2 sets really pissed me off. I was hoping to break 3 with these but fell short. Balance appears to be an issue here. This is more total volume with this weight than I have done before though.

Felt ok with this. tied an old PR with this weight. probably could have done more without the 181.2 lifts.

Pretty happy with this though.

Hitch. Less of one, but still there dammit. enough to make me consider switching to sumo.
RDL: got set for these, and found out I forgot/lost(not sure which yet) my straps. I said fuck it and just did it. Hands were hurting later on though.

Been out for a bit. Back now though. I still managed to hit the gym but it was rather sporadic due to outside concerns. At any rate, My current plan is to do the SPF fall madness meet in Dallas on Nov. 6th. Here is how training last time went.

Worked up to 325X10. The was hands down, the worst lift off I have ever had. Right when it happened, I remembered why I never randomly asked people for lift offs before. Fuck. Anyway:

This last set I moved in along the handles to a narrower grip setting in hopes of hitting my tris more.

asterisk due to the fact that I discovered this smith has counter weights on it. I do not know how much they take off, but I’m sure its something. Upon inspection, unless I bring in a set of wrenches(an option) I cannot disengage them.
The knee wraps are starting to feel more “natural” for lack of a better word. I need to work on sitting down more instead of the sit back habbit that I got into with low-bar squats. Eh, more preactice next week, with another weight bump. I think I will do each rep from a pause at the top from now on in an attempt to hammer home the decent.
Spent a good bit of time explaining exactly how a lift off is supposed to work, and that part went very well. I forgot to tell my spotter to not help me until I fialed however. To give him credit, he waited longer than most would have, but I still wish I could have tried to grind out rep 8. Oh, well, another night.

Worked up to 4 plates per side for a single. Probably only about 360LBs though due to the counterweights.
Called it a night as the gym was being locked when I got out of the smith
