Good to have you back here, logging your shit. Your plan looks good to me, but what do I know, lol.

Pulls looked good. How close are you from hitting a 550 conv DL?
My ass started a bit high, but I’m just happy to be pulling (semi)heavy again.

I should be pretty close to 550, if not over. Last time I pulled raw conv it was for 505 almost two years ago. Since then I have only pulled geared sumo or raw conv with chains or from a deficit.
You listed it as a goal, so I figured it was something you’d actually have to work a lot towards, in which I was thinking “Oh shit, I’m going to beat him there!” but if you’re close already, damnit.

600!

It is a bit conservative, but with my knee still feeling jacked up and at a lower body weight, I’m shooting for 550 first, then 600, then ???, then profit

Good to see you posting again. I just saw my last comment on this log and thought, ‘wow, I don’t remember posting in this log in July. Seems like a lot longer ago than that.’ Then I realised that the previous post was from July last year.

Anyway, will be following along watching you chase the 315 bench, bodyweight press, and all the rest of it.

Yeah get 'em up. Did you get your 666 squat or 600 DL? I vaguely remember those being weights you were chasing in your previous meet, but you may have achieved them first time around!

And nice back development bro. Lats iz swole.

Workin’ on the Feb. meet report. That meet was a bit of a dissapointment, b/c I knew I could’ve done better. It was moreso an indication that I wasn’t into competing anymore.

In the gym I got a 715 squat, a 615(I think?) pull, and a 455 bench. All geared.

Want to work on raw strength meow. Maybe do a raw meet? Deadlift only? Not sure.

awhatup Q

Deftones = classic, awesome live show

Tues 8/7 ME Lower

Easy Cardio Circuit x3 rounds
Jump rope x50
Sled drag down & back
T handle swings 75#x25

Some oly moves with unloaded bar, I am the suck

ME Anderson squats from pins raw no belt, worked up to 365x3

Low cable pull throughs 4x12
Leg press narrow stance for quads ss w/ calves on same machine 4x12
Prone ham curls 4x12

DIY T Handle made from corrugate plumbing pipes, nipple & 3-way junction

I use it for swings for cardio. Works pretty dang well and only cost about $15.

Saw some videos about it and gave it a go myself. Highly recommended. Instead of having fixed KBs, you can load it up with however many plates you want. 25lb plates are best since they don’t have a real big diameter.

Nice handiwork. Attach some rope to it and you could use it for wrist rolling too.
