Arcane, we are not persecuting Maines.
We voice our opinions maturely at certain times. These still include the words 'bitch' and 'dumb' however.
The rest of the time we're just in desperate need of entertainment and pull a few good jokes and racy slurs on Maines just for good fun. Not good hearted fun, but good fun.
For example, Maines is a fat bitch. She's a fucking crybaby, an airhead. She doesnt know what the fuck she does and comes crying to daddy on tv after posing nude in a pornographic fashion. This, my friend, is hilarious. And it doesnt mean we're the next jenny jones audience. It just means it's so funny and ridiculous at the same time you just HAVE to pick on it. It's too sweet to pass up. Thats it.

So basically you said it yourself it’s entertainment for you and it has gone beyond the initial outburst of her statement. As long as you admit it. Have a blast. Personally, I love the Dixie Chicks music. But I am still a redneck at heart. The thing about the situation that just absolutely floors me is the sheer, unadulterated stupidity of her actions. Its as if i put a banner on my web sites saying “My cutomers are stupid rednecks!” What did she expect? Their audience is possibly the most rabidly patriotic segment of the US population. Someday I would like to see an authorative estimate of the millions her mouth has cost them. She can sing her ass off, but damn what a dumbass. And she isn’t through yet. The other night she did a show wearing a F U T K tee shirt (fuck you Toby Kieth) a furthering of a feud she has with him over whether his “Red White and Blue” song is any good. Why even have a argument with him? He was just voted ACM entertainer of the year, and is a very powerful person in Nashville. It really is as if she is actively trying to destroy a huge cash cow. And on another note, for the other country fans on this forum (My estimate: 2). What the fuck happened to Shania’s voice? I have seen her live 3 times since her last album release and every time she is off key, and seems to be running out of breath, just barely finishing some lines. Is somthing wrong with my baby?

I love 'traveling soldier', the original version. Cant believe she fuckin ripped that song. I dont know the lyrics but it sounds as a tribute to our soldiers who put their lives on the line everyday. Coming from the fat bitch's mouth it's pure blasphemy.
I dont know who Toby is. But Ive heard 'red,whit, and blue' and I really liked that song. We need a good patriotic song right now. That one seems to fit the bell. Also, I like his advice to those who dont like the US - Get the Hell out!!!! Maines is just jealous he got there first - and that she will never be able to release a patriotic song without being ridiculed.
