Let me just say as a food obsessed SFFFB ( slightly fat former fat boy ) that if you’re making pancakes, especially ones with pre-mix do not, I repeat do not touch the pancake more than once to flip it or remove from the griddle.
Way to ruin the fluffyness that should be pancake!
Ha, good advice. The thing about these though is that the amount of actual mix in them is SMALL. If you noticed, I used 30g only. I like the density of these, like a soft cookie.
I enjoyed your post though, good stuff.
That’s a good point, it’s really about how you like your pancakes, all I know is when watching the video I was freaking out at hot many times you touched the pancake, in highspeed it was brutal to watch.
Now go make me some eggs to go with those pancakes, and bring some bacon.

Prick. No one touches the meat until maillard reaction has taken place!
“Slightly Former Fat Boy”??? Ha, for the love of God, the last thing we need is another category for someone to fit himself into to explain progress/lack of progress/lack of eating enough/etc.

Thanks Marzouk - I was just being cheeky, no bothers.

Ha, dude, I wasn’t criticizing him or calling him out or anything. I was just making a joke about how many categories there are that people use to describe themselves/former selves. The last part wasn’t directed at him–it was a hypothetical that’s often seen (e.g., “Well, I can’t eat much because I used to be fat.”)
You made pancakes out of pancake mix and just added some oats? dont really think that needs a whole youtube tutorial video lol
You NEVER pat your pancakes like that. Pushes the air bubbles out of the pancakes and makes them less “fluffy.” Thats pancake 101 brah
Don’t forget the eggs and cinnamon. Also, thanks for your opinion.
I already went over this. I used 1/2 serving of pancake mix, fluff is not what these are all about. Again, more people like the video than people like yourself who have a problem with it. Due to that fact, I’ll keep making these videos and adding to my collection.

the pancake mix i use calls for an egg and says to add cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
a non fluffy pancake? who wants to eat that? lol… isn’t that more of a biscuit?

its a good mix. Its actually gluten free cause my fiance has an intolerance.
for sure… seems “biscuity” to me.
side note… when youre making pancakes what do you use for a topping? do you use syrup? A thing that I’ve been doing lately which is AWESOME is to put greek yogurt on top. Get a strawberry flavored greek yogurt… Delicious.

Maple syrup for carbs and butter for fats, those are my toppings. If I used yogurt, I’d be using regular strawberry yogurt for the carbs too. Thanks for the suggestion.
