Wait, so the majority opposes what he says? That means we shouldn’t listen to him, right?

A nice propaganda bit, but the sad part is he probably doesn’t realize that the only reason this is true is because at it’s founding, America was 13 colonies along the east coast.

I can’t believe you guys eat this shit up.
Did you agree with anything from the ones that you watched?

I know you did not ask me but I want to answer About the agreeing with, I agree with some of what he says.
like the issue with guns I agree with for one.
He does have alot of factual errors and he is just being a cheerleader spewing republican propraganda, but he does make alot of good valid points along with his invalid ones.

How he is going about it and standing up for his convictions and how he speaks with passion is respectable, and any opened minded smart person would do well to atleast listen and give his arguments a chance to be heard. thats my opinion on it, hes doing his thing and doing it pretty good.
I mean its gotten all of your guys’ attention didn’t it? and isnt that the point, to get as many people to listen as possible?

Talking points well delivered, GO TEAM RED!!

The fact that you think its these statements that we’re eating up just makes you kinda… pathetic.

You know we’re intelligent enough to ignore the over-the-top shit. Concentrate on what he’s actually saying.

We need to get back to a democratic ineffective president and a conservative congress.

which is why I subscribed to the man,he is over the top on his speeches but he makes sense to someone like me,who is really ignorant to the issues and who is quite frankly confused about everything. and because I am confused I try to not assume I know everything because my parents swayed one way or another but I try to listen to everything everyone has to say, cause I know that all the parties have good points and all parties are full of shit in a way.

Some, yes. Most of it is rhetorical opinion – hard to refute. He includes very few facts, and when he does, he is generally wrong.

Read the thread, dipshit. I already provided two factual errors.

He tends to speak about ideologies instead of facts. Why is this a bad thing? Their are facts that back up his statements, but he isn’t writing a term paper. It’s a youtube videos. He’s explaining his side’s logic in hopes that people (particularly young people who can’t be assed with facts) will stop viewing conservatism as the party of the “rich white man”.

He’s trying to spread a message.

Yes, but they were bengign and completely irrelevent… Let’s not resort to personal insults shall we? Something about name calling just seems so…high school.

Wow. First you insult me, then you whine about being insulted? Absurd, and pathetic.

To the point - Factual errors run rampant throughout these videos. For extra credit, find a few yourself. It’s not that hard. There are many.

Aren’t you a pleasant little smattering of elitism and anti-elitism. These are not benign and irrelevant factual errors, nor are they obscure. These are snippets of right wing propaganda whether he realizes this or not.

I see.
He’s explaining his side’s logic in hopes that people (particularly young people who can’t be assed with facts) will stop viewing conservatism as the party of the “rich white man”.

Hence my label “crusader” on the first page.

There is no value in constructing your worldview around puffed up rhetoric backed up by factual errors, even if you come to the correct conclusions. I have no use for these ideological crusaders, especially those who target young people who are most vulnerable to this kind of rhetoric. I would much rather that young people learn to think and reason independently and build their conclusions based on facts.

Then again, if you are one of those who believes in a grand conspiracy of the liberal media, liberal Hollywood, and liberal academia to brainwash kids to become mindless liberal drones, you probably rationalize this kind of crap as a fair and retaliatory measure.

As if the lies of the left are deposited in a bank account from which the right is justified in making withdrawals.
jawara wrote:

Conservatism is best for the non-white/rich man.

We don’t need any more arguments of conservatism verses liberalism. Everyone should just embrace elitism as the best options that natural law has to offer us. The consequence of not choosing elitism is choosing populism. Populism is untenable with natural law because it is rooted in the idea that “all man is created equal.”

In a society that is organized to best protect liberty the naturally gifted will always ascend to positions of influence. Only in a system that embraces egalitarianism above everything else do we need a government to provide for those “less fortunate”. And indeed, it ends up creating, to some extent, those it must provide for. Our populist government is an enabler of the weak. Instead of protecting them and creating more of them government needs to purge them from the system by shutting off all entitlement and welfare spending (including corporate welfare).

Striving for anything less than the best nature can give us is pure folly.

Just embrace elitism and nature will take care of the rest.
