I just began a cycle of Underground Labs M1T 4 days ago…I am 19 years old (yes I know I’m young) weigh 175, 6 foot, been lifting now for 2 years. I started the first day with 10 mg…from what I’ve heard, that’s a good amount to begin with to see how one will react…but by day 2 i was up to 15 mg and now am taking 20 mg a day and am still in the first week. I’ve heard so many bad things about this steroid like how the sides are unbearable and aren’t worth it…yet, at this dose I have seen none (I think).
The first day i took it i thought i felt lethargy in the afternoon but now that i think about it, it was probably just lack of sleep from the previous night. I haven’t noticed testicular shrinkage, my libido is great (as always), I haven’t been more agressive, I have noticed some pumps in the gym but that’s it. From many of the other logs/journals of M1T that I’ve read, people would notice massive weight/strength gains by now and already be talking about the possibility of stopping because the sides are unbearable. I have heard some people talk about how prohormones/pro steroids don’t work for them. Is there a possibility that my body isn’t responding positively to the M1T, should I up the dose, or should I just sit back and wait it out? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
There’s several threads about M1T usage if you search the steroid forum. I know it’s suppose to produce a large backup, stomach pains supposedly, and potentially lead to gyno. I could have sworn most people used 30-40mg and had novla and clomid on the side because it’s so potent. But, I wouldn’t rely on my information wholly because this is just off the top of my head.
I also forgot to add that my protein intake per day is around 150 grams…i would take in more but my stomach can’t handle it I also keep my caloric intake in the 5000 range…I eat 3 huge meals a day, and I snack all day long and drink plenty of water. I take 10 mg of M1T in the morning before work…and 10 mg when I get off of work before I work out.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. If you are getting that little protein on so many calories, you are doing something wrong. Either that, or you are overestimating your caloric intake. If your diet is wrong, you are too young, you have only been training for 2 years, and you are only 175, why are you using this now? I would recommened you go try to end this cycle, not increase the dosage. Save it for a year or two from now, or at least until you get your diet in order.
Maybe I did overestimate my caloric intake…each day I start with 5 cooked eggs along with 2-3 slices of ham, toast and grape juice, for lunch, 2 sandwiches with lots of chips and cookies or brownies, then a huge dinner with vegetables, meats, and lots of carbs. All along with 2-3 peanut butter shakes and 4-5 protein shakes a day. I have been working out for 2 years yes…I have been through numerous workouts and training programs (I started working out at 130 lbs.) and have had great natural gains, but I have been at 175 for the better part of the past 4 months. I’ve tried switching up my workouts, changing diet and carb loading like no other and I finally decided to try a prohormone cycle to see where it got me. Don’t get me wrong, I love my body and I’m trying to develop it to the max, not destroy it in any way. As for your suggestion on stopping the cycle…no, I started this cycle to end it with as much strength/mass gains as possible and will follow through with it.
The poster child for someone who is using prohormones/steroids prematurely who doesn’t have much lifting experience and certainly doesn’t have their diet in order.

Don’t destroy that cycle; destroy that diet. I reccomend you read
Foods that make you look good Nekid (I bet you won’t find cookies and chips in the good section for some reason)
Read Massive Eating parts 1 and 2, and massive eating reloaded parts 1 and 2. Hell if you can try to read every article on www.johnberardi.com in the nutrition section.
There’s an article on this site that explains how to keep a food log; read that. You seem to have little idea about your macronutrient ratios or how many calories you’re actually eating (this is more important than your workouts)
Chad Waterbury…
Of course finish eating your cookies before you read these articles; I heard they are digested better on a full stomach.

A lot of guys will tell you off for using prematurely. I say more power to you. I think it’s totally alright to speed things up with drugs if you are keeping it safe (your age still bothers me a bit, but whatever, it’s your decision). The reason I suggest you abort is because you are sort of wasting it with your current diet. I’d come off, figure out the diet, and do it right next time. But if you can overhaul your diet TODAY, then do that instead. I’ll talk more about your diet in a little while.
Thank you guys for your input, I guess I thought my current diet was alright but I will go on and change it totally if that is what is needed to get maximum gains with M1T. Is there anything else that I can do as far as the M1T is concerned for maximizing this cycle?

About your diet, you said you are getting 150g protein/day. You also said you have 4-5 shakes a day. The shakes alone should be bringing you near 100g. Now, it may be that you are underestimating your protein consumption, but I think it is more likely you are grossly overestimating your calories. From what you posted, I’d expect your total calories to be closer to 3000 than 5000.
Check out www.fitday.com, and use it to track your calories. You’ll be surprised, I guarantee it. It also seems to me you could be spreading it out better throughout the day. Instead of eating 2 sandwiches at 12pm, why not eat one at 11am and one at 1pm? What do you have as a sandwhich? I know I could not eat two sandwiches together at the same time. Then again, I use big ol’ slices of flax bread, with about twice, maybe three times more filling than bread (by thickness). Five thousand calories really is a lot.
In my last post, I explained I felt you were wasting the M1T with that diet. To elaborate, if you can’t grow without drugs, something is wrong, and it would be in your best interest to fix that before trying a drug. You’ve made awesome gains since your start, but they have stopped. Why do you think that is? Most likely, your caloric intake is no longer sufficient for growth. Yes, you’ll probably put on a few pounds on this cycle, but you’d put on a lot more with a good diet. What’s more, after your cycle, when you are once again not growing (and maybe losing some gains) what are you going to do? I’d wager you go back to drugs. Conversely, if your diet was already in check, you could probably accept the slow gains after a quick boost, and not use drugs as a crutch.
I most definately will change up my diet starting tomorrow, even if it means waking up an extra half hour to make my food for the day. And I hope that after this cycle I will continue to make gains due to my change in diet. I might even consider one of those high intensity Waterbury workouts. I hope this cycle of M1T doesn’t become a crutch for me, as I know that a life of drugs isn’t the way to go, especially for someone so young.
Thanks to all for your input, its much appreciated.
First off, I wouldn’t advocate the use of M1T at your age but since your set on it here’s a list of potential things to expect (everyone reacts differently).First,if you haven’t done so already, you need to research what the product does to your liver enzmes, blood lipids, etc. There is so much information avaliable and much of it is very scientifically based.I’ve run six different cycles ranging from 2 weeks to 4 weeks and from 20 to 40 mg a day but found that for me 30 mg a day worked best. The list:
Lethargy, sometimes heavy, sometimes not but definately lack of motivation. You may find it hard to get to the gym now and then. Push yourself to get there, it’ll be worth it.
Body weight and strength will start to go up toward the end of the second week and both will increase rapidly so use excellent form and be careful because you will be moving weight that your body may not be used to.
If you go 4 weeks, by the end of the fourth week you will probably be looking forward to the end of the cycle to give your body a break.
Continue to tweak your diet. You can go hyper caloric but you must eat clean and get plenty of protein.
Your friends and family may ask you what the heck is wrong with you. It’s part of the lethargy issue.
I’ll go out on a limb and say you can expect to gain 10 to 15 pounds of lean body mass but it’s difficult to maintain it all. Plan out an excellent PCT. I used TRIBEX with M according to label instructions and milk thistle three times daily (dont remember the dose off hand). If I were going to do it again, I would try some Carbolin 19 as well. This plan worked well and I kept a good 8 pounds of solid muscle.
Your nuts will start to shrink probably in the third week and so will your libido. It will take a couple of weeks of PCT to get back in order.
Finally, I did experience some extremely aggresive behavior during one cycle. It may or may not have been related but I’m just saying that you should definately be a little more vigilant of your actions. Don’t do anything stupid.
Don’t get complacent while using M1T. Keep researching becuase it does some significant things to your body and you’ll want to be informed.
It seems that that’s the kind of things you were looking for, hope it helps. Be smart, be safe, get big. PM me if you have any questions and I’ll try to help.
Save the m1t. I’m being completely serious. Get your diet in order and a solid routine for at LEAST 1year before you take this or you’ll lose everything you gained. also when you decide to take it do it right. try 10mg for a week and see how yur body responds, then jump to 20mg for a week or 2 before going back to 10mg for a final week. I did 2 4 week cycles just like that and gained 10lbs each time and got noticeably stronger. but I lost most of it both times from shitty eating [first time] and getting really sick then being really lazy [2nd time].
So, from 1st hand experience, educate yourself, eat well and often, train hard and heavy, listen to your body and do yourself a favor and hold off for a good while. Trust me, you’ll be much better off for it.
