Hey folks, new to the forum world but after reading through some threads I figured there were a lot of folks on here who could help me answer questions a lot better than most. So I’m on my second cycle of Test E and I tend to use my shoulders and alternate each injection. I’m at 400mg (light does I know) and i noticed about a week after I injected in my left delt a soft lump. It’s not hard at all and massaging the area helps but the bump is about two or three inches away from the injection sight and again it is soft and raised. I was wondering if anyone could provide some feedback on what they think it is. I’ve got cyprofloxen (penicilin) but I save that for when I’m sick or get a nasty cut while working. Should I go to the doctor or should I just keep working it with ice and heat and see what happens? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
What colour is the lump?
If the lump is discolored, painful, or warm to the touch then signs would point to an infection; additionally if you’re running a fever that would also point to an infection. If none of these signs are present then you’re more than likely fine. Out of curiousity how many ml of oil are you injecting at once? I assume you’re doing something like 1 ml of 200mg Test 2x a week?
It’s a little red but not warm to the touch or anything like that.
It’s not yellow or green it looks like a bug bite but it’s slightly soft. I worked shoulders this morning and the stiffness and some soreness is gone. But yes, the dosage is 200mg 2x a week at 1/2 a ml each injection.
I shoot shoulders as well and what I notice is that (at least this is what I suspect happens) occassionally I hit a blood vessel and it bleeds a bit under the skin after the pin is withdrawn causing a lump to form. It’s gone in a day or two…no worries. The same thing may have happened to you.
why do people start conversations like this without providing a picture? That makes this conversation so much easier.
That’s what I thought too. But the lump has been there for about a week now. Maybe just hit a larger blood vessel and I know for a fact I wiggled the dart a little since I was still waking up. But I appreciate the feedback from all of you. I’ll definitely be using this group a heck of a lot more.
You could post one picture of it and get the response you need instead of the back and forth about what it looks and feels like. I’m pretty sure we have all have had a lump after pinning at some point. It could be from a few different things. just post a pic.
like pretty much all the time. for me, it can last anywhere from an hour to a week.
Figured it out. My doc told me I moved the needle and it created a pocket that filled with fluid
Pockets of oil are pretty common with testosterone injections. Nothing to worry about at all.
I moved to a smaller needle as well. Was only able to get 23g then moved to 28g and surprisingly works great no PIP in the other shoulder or anything. I need to grow a set of nuts and start using my quad. So I can have more options.
