Hey guys, what’s up?
I’m going to begin HCG soon and I’m a little concerned about estrogen. If I want to lower my weekly dose of Test Cyp proportional to how much test I get from the HCG, roughly how much would I lower it by? My current dose has been 700mg for the past 3 weeks and I’ve been taking 6.25mg of Aromasin or less e3d since I upped to 700mg. On 600mg for 8 weeks prior to that I wasn’t using any AI.
I’m not sure there’s a way to know how much impact HCG will have without trying it first and getting bloodwork. I know that typically you’ll get an e2 peak 24 hours after the shot and T peak 3 days after, if that helps

it does help me try to time AI as a first resort. I believe the results of using Aromasin arent really felt until 2-3 days after dosing right?
I haven’t used Aromasin before, I always did Anastrozole, but I think the timing should be about the same. You should feel the effects of lowered e2 a few days after taking it. If you feel better right away you probably took too much and are about to push e2 too low.
As for the estrogen rise from taking HCG, the AI isn’t helpful against it, since it comes from direct stimulation of the balls and not from aromatization. But you could still use to it lower the T → e2 conversion from the Test you’re taking to babalnce out.
Have you ever tried letting e2 go higher without an AI? A lot of the benefits of taking T is the conversion to estrogen.
Oh shit nevermind you answered the AI part in your post.
Well since the HCG will give you ~0 more test, I’d say lower it by 0. Seriously, hcg is great to help maintain functioning testes, but beyond that there is not a lot of clinical data showing that it can raise testosterone levels in men who are taking supraphysiologic doses already. It will certainly raise e2, but that’s a different animal. Taking a bucket of aromasin won’t stop that problem if it’s caused by hcg.
A higher dose of aromasin than what I’m currently using couldn’t help?
No. You can take as much as you want but it won’t stop aromatization from hcg.
I’m going to add a caveat here, because I feel it’s necessary.
You could theoretically use aromasin to drop your e2 to 0 while on testosterone and then use enough hcg to bring it back up to whatever level you’d want it to be. But you can’t really do that because it would require multiple rounds of blood work and a lot of tinkering to get it right. It’s best to just not try to play mad scientist with your hormones unless you’re damn sure you know what you’re doing.
