Low test levels, doctor says it’s within normal ranges

I recently got tested because of quite a few symptoms of low test. Doctor is saying that the levels are within range and I’m not sure he’s willing to do anything. Do y’all think I should keep pushing? Tired all the time, low libido, the whole 9 yards.

From my experience if your numbers are in range your primary will do nothing. I played the game with then for over a year before i took matters into my own hands.
You could go to a clinic if you have one locally or do a telemed with an online clinic.

Is this the first time ever getting it checked? What if youve been at these numbers for 10 years?

I’ve been feeling off for about a year now and this is the first time getting my levels checked.

Did you get everything checked? The only reason i ask is i see a lot of guys my age, start to feel like shit and immediately think it must be low testosterone, i need drugs.
I had a similar experience last year. Got levels checked for the first time at 37 “within range.” 6 months later i was feeling better, in a better spot mentally and focusing on my sleep and diet. Got checked again, same number. For all i know that number could have been the same when i was 23.
All im saying is, take a look at the whole picture first before taking the leap into trt. Get your sleep, diet, and emotional/mental state in a better place then see how you feel. If you still feel like shit after 6 months of disciplined work, hit up a clinic.

Your numbers are on the low end of normal. You could still benefit for trt. Have you tried rechecking your numbers they may dip low.

Don’t neglect thyroid as well. Understand that most docs don’t do a full T3 and T4 lab. You can be green to them but not convert your T4 to T3 and be deficient. That’s what I’ve been fighting for a few years now. Look for a reputable functional medicine practice if you don’t get anywhere with your GP.
