I was reading this thread and was thinking about mentioning just what you said. Find a new doctor. Many of us on this forum have been through the difficulty of finding a good doctor. I live above Baltimore outside of York Pa. My GP has been great. She looked at my levels prescribed androgel. We both new very little about treating low T until I found this board and the Musclechatroom board. I read a lot and followed the advice of KSman and others. I got my doctor to prescribe just as has been recommended here. It took print outs from this site and else where and asked her to read them and see if she agreed. She eventually did and Iâ??ve been very happy with the results. Iâ??m still learning the more I read so donâ??t expect to leave this in the hands of someone else. You will have to be your own advocate with this.
I also tried to see an endo and like many others, I got the big blow off. What pissed me off was that I tried to make sure up front before I went it to see him, that he was willing to help me. He did not look at anything I sent in, asked me why I was there to see him as he paged through my file shaking his head the whole time. Waste of time for me and him. I should have refused the bill but I figured why fight it. Iâ??ll just go to Dr. John Crisler in Michigan. I have not done so yet but I think I will try Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
It would be nice to get a list of doctor around the country that people could go see. Iâ??ve asked on this board but have not found anyone (ie an Endo) in my area that treats low T. At least you can get the info, now you just have to find a doctor to prescribe the HCG and anastrozol. Since you have the script for testosterone your way ahead. You can get the HCG from over seas pharmacy and the anastozole can be purchased as a research compound. You can also get lab work done with out a script from some place KSman mentioned. This can hold you over until you get a doctor to work with y
