Low T or Not Low T, That is The Question (UK Based)

There are two things that you might look into.

The first is that a calculated free testosterone level below 0.225 nmol/L, which is what you’ve got, is associated with hypogonadism. I posted a thread with details a while back. This paper suggests TRT for anyone below 0.250 nmol/L.

The second is that you’ve got high levels of LH and FSH, with low-normal (in your second test) testosterone. That’s characteristic of compensated or subclinical hypogonadism.

Your numbers for testosterone, SHBG, LH and FSH aren’t dissimilar to what mine were. I’m on TRT for the second reason, though I’d have possibly fallen under the first too.
