Low Libido on TRT

You right

What is your TRT protocol?. And what are your numbers?. Thanks

185 mg a week, two injections a week, somewhere around 870 total test and high 50’s E2. If I recall correctly. I haven’t bothered to check in a while. E2 doesn’t bother me, except I believe I may be prone to strains when it’s low.

You don’t take any AI or HCG?

No. I did recently run HCG for a week, but I don’t bother with it much. Just wanted to fire up the boys for a few days.

You MAY need to keep your test amount the same in order to feel the trt WHILE at the same time lowering your E2 but means of an ai in order to keep boners.

Your body may not be setting the ratio that feels best for you.

Yah very rare

End of day people find a dose that works. Daily works for everyone regardless of high or low SHBG. SHBG also fluctuates and there are other reasons to consider besides just SHBG.

A good doc told me that once weekly on high or low SHBG doesn’t make sense because either way they end up having lower T by the time next injection is close.

The entire point of the injections is to store and release over an extended period. Higher SHBG guy might need 300 in his system after he’s stabilized to produce the same levels someone gets from 200.

Think dose don’t worry about SHBG. SHBG should be fixed if super high or low through other approaches by asking ā€œis my SHBG high because of a low carb diet?ā€ ā€œWhat about insulin and other issues related to blood sugarā€. These are well known causes for high SHBG. Low SHBG is an opposite conundrum.

Dictating your entire reasoning for injection frequency on SHBG levels is unnecessary if you understand how the injectables build up in your system.

Increase dose until Symtoms Resolve. Also give it time to work . It really is as simple as that.

No it doesn’t matter how often. Trt lowers high SHBG over time because it makes the body more healthy. Low and high abnormal SHBG is due to unhealthy lifestyles and etc

So many guys and TRT gurus on YouTube are totally against the use of AI’S. But my TRT provider told me to take 0.5mg Anastrazole a week, I mean is a really low dose. Does Anastrazole affect libido? Or is having low E2 what affects libido?.

I personally believe that the higher your FT is, the better your libido will be. But the higher the E2, when combined with low shbg, the worse your erections will be.

Of course, increasing FT means increasing E2. So you have to figure out how to get the E2 where you need it to me
While keeping that FT high enough.

Some
Guys with higher shbg don’t need to worry so
Much about E2. It’s bound up.

This is not a low dose, a low dose is 0.050 or .125. Most guys I’ve seen can’t handle .5 anastrozole.

Usually they prescribed 1mg a week, I just take half

Try 0mg per week. That’s a much better dose for most people.

Like a hundred people here just told you to drop the AI…

I followed the advice from the board and dropped the AI’s, started injecting EOD and reduced dosage and I am happy to say that all of my libido issues have gone away. It took about 3 months for my body to balance out though.

This is no surprise and others should realize things in the TRT world can happen more slowly.

This doctor is the anabolic doc. He deals with body builders and he doesn’t give ai to everyone: tell your doc to watch it. You are harming your well being.

He Specifically mentions that long term use gives men… wait for it… heart attacks.

This is Jordan grant. He’s a urologist: he doesn’t specialize in trt. Listen to what he says.

These doctors research and understand estrogen.

Guys with higher e2 are walking erections: guys with low e2 are always complaining of problems.

This guy is another example of what I’m talking about:

The guys who drop ai don’t ever give it enough time: instant gratification.

You gave it time and now it’s not just libido you probably just feel fantastic right?
