Low Libido, Always Cold & Fatigued but T, Free T, Estradiol All Look Good

6’1 189lbs been on TRT for 7years, used HCG on and off. Have been back on it since OCT, trying to conceive again
Current TRT Protocol
.35ml Test cyp 200mg 2X/Week
.250iu HCG 3X/Week

Been Running PPL with ABs/cardio 30min on 2 “off days”

I have been cutting at 2300cal for a few weeks
Have been having mild pitting edema at ankles noticed a week ago and some heart palpitations but they could have been caused by anxiety due to edema. I can’t wrap my mind around any specific reason for my symptoms and looking for advice!

Cold and fatigued leads me to believe Thyroid issues. While your TSH is fine your T3 is not. I’m honestly not up to speed on all the Thyroid tests etc. @systemlord @highpull @anon18050987

Yes, normal TSH, bottom normal free t4 and low free t3. The TSH being normal seems strange. Thanks for the input.

Can’t speak with any real knowledge about thyroid results, I’m lacking.

As far as the edema, make sure your sodium intake isn’t too much, fluid intake is good, and consider adding potassium to your diet.

If its bothering you enough, have it checked out. I will get retention if my e2 is out of whack, level comes back in range but it just affects me at that level.
Everyones different, but for me injecting 0.2ml subq every 3 days keeps the bloat away and my e2 levels are on the lower side.
No experience with hcg.

Question about your fertility, have you conceived on trt before? Did you use hcg?

Theres a possibility I’d try in the future and wanted input/experience.

Yes, one child without TRT, one child with TRT + HCG

Thanks for your input

It will be challenging to absorb vitamins and mineral with subpar thyroid function. Iron is needed to be able to convert T4 to Free T3 efficiently.

Low iron can cause fatigue, cold hands and feet, feeling cold in general. I had pitting edema when I was iron deficient..

Check iron saturation and ferritin. Testing iron directly is unreliable because eating can change serum iron in the short term and isn’t very accurate.

Yeah, those are classic low thyroid symptoms. T4 is barely hanging in there. Hard to read, but does not appear to be overt anemia and I doubt it’s low iron, but it would not hurt to supplement some.

Thanks for the info! Always wondered if I’d be able to.
