ya, I actually used Pure Protein Bars for a while because they were cheap, but stopped because of the soy.
Alright, who do I beat the tar out of first?
Pure Protein bars have 9 grams of sugar and around 25 grams of carbohydrate, depending on the flavor.
Biotest’s Metabolic Drive bars have fewer grams of sugar and about 25 total grams, depending on the flavor, and have the highest–quality protein, and no garbage ingredients, in addtion to only costing a little over a buck a bar.

Wouldnt doubt the quality of Metabolic Drive bars at all - hell I know these things are awesome.
As for low carb - Ima shooting for something around sub 10g per bar.
A buck a bar doesnt apply for the UK so much
cough uk Biotest store please cough
I might give the batter bars a go sometime as someone else suggested but it was more for something I could take on long journeys with me and because just occasionally I have a bit of a craving for some bar shaped chocolatey goodness.
While the total carb content is the met drive bars is lower than some of the other bars I’ll use, you can get lower SUGAR contents with those Supreme bars I always pick up at 7-11s when I’m out on the run.

Exactly. The total carb number still counts(aside from fiber). Here’s the large 78g Pure bar. 24 of those 26 grams still count because although most of them won’t impact blood sugar, they’ll still stop the fat-burning process, which is the whole point of low carb. It’s the same as with fruit - the fructose and fiber do not spike insulin, but it still halts fat-burning.

Could you elaborate? Are you referring simply to the fact that they are still calories so your body has to burn through them before your stored fat, or something else?
The fact that they dont impact blood sugar is still good though, wouldnt you agree?
