Hi, im a 6,13 and 190lbs guy, i tried many diets in my life, but a keto-ish diet runs for me best, my body responds very well to those high good fats. In this keto-state i have more overall energy, im not so tired in the morning or during the day. My strength goes rapidly up
My macros are 220g protein,180-230g fats,50-120g carbs, once in a while (1-2x a month i carbs up, everything depends how i feel)
On non-lifting days i decrease my protein to 170g and up my fats to 250-320g
As said Keto works smooth for me the transition for me takes only few days. I’ve heard some people take from 2 weeks to several months. In this period you feel more exhausted, exactly what you are experiencing right now.
For me this is a good experience and i defenetly i will stick to it as long as i can.

Hey,
I’ve been training for the past 3 years following a high carb diet (500g+ carbs, mainly from starch in the beginning, now fruits and veggies, 150g protein on average, 100g fat, so 3000cal+)
Went from 150lb to 190, pretty much as lean, and I’m 6"3.
I’ve been reading about the low carb high fat stuff. Considering that I feel better after high fat days, I’m thinking about trying it for a month or 2, along with a new routine (915 from Thibaudeau).
But does it make sense for a long-limbed slim punk like me ? Considering something like 100g carbs (0 starch), 150g proteins, 200g fat.
If anyone has done this sort of transition and felt good (CNS, joints, strength, body comp…), I’d love to read about it
