Lost w/ Symptoms…

I’m currently w/ Defy and was started on the following protocol. 37/M lots of the normal symptoms.

HCG: 3x per week. Started at 500units and reduced to 250 due to symptoms like massive water weight gain and sensitive nipples.

DIM:200mg Daily. I stopped taking it altogether 5 days ago as I was having low (i thought) E2 symptoms.

DHEA: 15mg daily

The problem is that I am getting none of the positive benefits I expected aside from decent workouts.

I vasolate between energetic and exhausted by mid day. I’m kinda interested in sex, but have no real desire. Erections are soft, and hard to maintain, and never spontaneous. I had water weight gain (5lbs) lost it for a few days, and it came back slightly after stopping the DIM. I currently feel agitated/tired and a bit bloated with all the same sexual sides, and no nipple sensitivity.

I would guess I’m swinging ( or have swung) from low E2, stopped the DIM, injected 250mg of HCG (yesterday) and now have high E2 ? Is this possible ?

I have anastrozole .125 on hand, but my understanding is that it won’t stop ITT production of E2,but only stops aromatization. So what would be the point ? I also can’t seem to tell if I’m low or high. I know I need bloodwork. I’m due 8/18.

I’m at the point of just asking the doc for low dose (30mg 3x week) TRT as it seems like the HCG has no positive benefits, and the sides are absurd, even at this low a dose. I also feel like I would definitely know if my E2 was high based on aromatase conversion. Kinda lost where I’m at now.

I haven’t even had the desire for masturbation after several days. As a natty I’d be more than ready to go by this point.

It would be helpful to know what the no-shit high/low E2 signs are, because reading online has not really clarified anything for me. Any help/reccomendations you have would be greatly appreciated.

HCG is one of those compounds you either love, hate or have a love, hate relationship. More often men feel better on TRT than hCG or clomd.

HCG, you’re getting estrogen from two different sources, TRT only one.

This is the whole protocol? Just HCG, DIM and DHEA??

Yes, that’s it. I’m wondering if I should just try and go for low-dose trt…

I’m no doctor but I really dont understand a protocol like this. A simple Test protocol is all you need.

While true, I believe Defy is trying a restart protocol before giving a ‘younger’ guy TRT. I was told by one of their intake employees that they don’t like treating men under 40 without a diagnosis. Their bread and butter is optimizing aging males.

Understood. I wonder about 1) the success rate though of a restart protocol (without test) with someone that has already showed deficiency. But I am a bit insensitive on the fertility topic since it doesnt apply to me

Yeah it would be, ‘cept we’re all different and react differently. You didn’t mention any blood work, and you seem to want to make changes on a whim. I wouldn’T do that. I’d take whatever your program is, get blood work done, see what’s off, and address that. It’s so easy to run blood work these days there’s really no excuse for not doing it
