First time posting, so if I’m not doing this right I apologize.
Male, 27
205lbs
Lift 4 days a week
Been on TRT 4/14/23 - current (7-1-23)
Protocol is 0.30 ml of 200mg/mI test cyp, three times per week.
Relevant Initial diagnosis blood work:
Total Test- 327 ng/dL (ref range 264-916)
Free Test- 9 pg/mL (ref range 9.3-26.5)
Estradiol, Sensitive- 19.2 pg/mL (ref range 8-35)
Blood work from 6/23/23:
Total Test- 1196 ng/dL
Free Test- 22.1 pg/mL
Estradiol, Sensitive- 52 pg/mL
I was also prescribed Anastrozole .125mg two to three times per week “if estrogen symtoms occur.”
I haven’t had any estrogen symtoms that I am aware of since starting this protocol so I haven’t touched the Anastrozole.
First month or so I felt better each week. More motivated, more confident, increased sex drive, and it started to get easier to get up in the mornings, which was my biggest problem.
Then after the first month I really started noticing the difference in the gym. Making huge progress week to week on strength and size. This all continued until about 2 weeks ago. Suddenly it’s as hard as ever to get up in the mornings, and I have lost strength and endurance daily in the gym. On all of my lifts I’ve lost weight and/or reps. My diet has not changed at all.
So I’m wondering if my estrogen being a little high could be related to these symptoms? Or my test being a little high? Or maybe I just need to eat more since my body is functioning at a higher level now?
Just hoping for some experienced opinions here. If anyone has seen increased estrogen affect their strength, endurance, or get up and go in the mornings.
