I’m new to this website and am looking for some good advice from experienced lifters and bodybuilders. I’m a 19 dude that has been strictly weightlifting for a year. Before this I did 4 years of strength and conditioning training for football. When I stopped playing ball I weighed a huge 300 and my bf% was around 35%. I’m 6’8 so for a tackle that’s what colleges wanted for weight but not all the fat.
Well I wasn’t into sports anymore so I decided to stop playing and get into body builder/ lifting. I had gotten my weight down to 235 through diet and working out in a little over 8 months. I am now trying gain muscle mass which is happening but not as fast as desirable. I’m at 18% body fat and now weigh 250. I also want to drop body fat. I am just looking for advice on what to do because I am kind of stuck at were I am right now.
I have weighed the option of taking Test-E but am not sure about it because I’m 19 but if I did I would make sure to have all proper PCT and would take a estrogen blocker during cycle.
I’ve been a skinny dude my whole life. When I was your age I was 6’0" 150lbs. I always wanted to “get big and stay lean.” It just doesn’t work that way. To gain weight you need to be in a calorie surplus. To lose weight you have to be in a calorie deficit.
I feel the best way is to gain as much as you can. This will be muscle and fat, then, cut it later through strict diet. From 300 to 235 you seem to be alright on that.
As for the roids - Your natural test levels are good enough to make great gains for the next few years. Switch programs, try new things, be consistent, train hard, and most importantly, eat.
You make a lot of good point dude. I’d rather get my body fat down further though because i want to be leaner cause I never really have been. The test level thing is irrelevant because I know my test is high but with an AAS such as test-e it is a whole other level and those gains that are visible every time you look in the mirror is extremely tempting, you know what I’m saying?
What they are trying to say is your 19. Your natural test levels are probably where mine are at 42 and on AAS. Your young bro. Work hard, enjoy, and be healthy. Good luck.

Any info or comments are appreciated. [/quote]
You really should wait until you’re closer to 25yrs old, but you’re probably going to do it anyway so…maybe consider an 8-10wk cycle of test-e with primo or anavar like I’m planning to do to gain some lean size. Make sure your PCT is ON POINT, and bear in mind that your endocrine system is still developing.
It might sound crazy, but when I was your age I had steroid-like results with tribulus. Oily skin and all. I could see the change in my strength, pumps, libido, everything. 10yrs later tribulus doesn’t do shit for me anymore, but it was great back then.
Thanks you guys. I appreciate all the feedback. I’m probably leaning more towards not doing due to the possibility of my dick and balls not working. That would suck.
