Looking for Basketball Shoes

I saw both flight- and foamposites and played around with 'em -they did seem really comfy and were light. Didn’t try them on tho b/c I don’t think I’m going to play enough to justify that expense. Plus I’m on unemployment so I need to be frugal.

Whoops, just realized I spent my earlier post bragging about how those Nike Frees helped strengthen my feet and rediscover my arches.

As for an actual recommendation, I would just encourage you to buy from a legit retailer with a good return policy. Cause you’ll def need to break them in properly to feel really good about the fit.

What I do is warm up and etc. on turf or soft surfaces without shoes, this has helped my arches (along with physical therapy because of tibial stress fractures during Football season last year.)

I’ve been playing basketball in Lebron IV’s for years now ever since they came out.
For us (I assume heavier, weightlifting) guys, these shoes literally provided me with THE MOST support I have ever felt. Only downside is that they are heavier, which I know you don’t want, but honestly Ill take the weight as the support on all sides is amazing.

If you still want a recommendation for a light shoe,
The new Kobes with Flywire are great for support and lightness.

Quick bump since this thread kinda convinced me to spring for some new hoop shoes.

And after breaking in a fresh pair of Kobe Zoom Vs over these past few weeks, I would def recommend them. I’ll actually never go back to high-tops anymore; they just feel so much restrictive

And make sure you do some looking around, no need to pay the full $129.99 anymore

air max chosen. comfortable, supportive, light as a feather.
