Looking for advice on oral "blasts"on trt after great results

Hallo everyone. Never posted or asked much and it’s been a while since I posted or asked anything. I’d like to hear from @RT_Nomad and @iron_yuppie primarily, but everyone, please feel free to advice me.

I am now a “long time trt user” with well over 20 years in the gym and 3 “blasts” in the last several years. First two were test e only @500/week, first one with great results, second with good results. Third one was dbol @30mg a day for 6 weeks, with my 160mg trt/week. And this one was ridiculous. In a good way. I have never felt so good. Strength skyrocketed. Libido, can’t even explain it, can’t even imagine what being on tren feels like, libido wise, when I felt so good on dbol. I had zero side effects except for the lower back pump, but I “convinced” myself I’m comfortable with it and it wasn’t a problem. It gets better: I deliberately waited 2 months after the last tab to start this thread. I gained 8 pounds on the “blast”. I felt a bit soft during. I didn’t look soft. Also no moon face. Back to trt since the last tab, 2 months later, I have those 8 pounds still, and my muscles are hard. Vascularity on a whole new level. I haven’t changed anything in the diet. I have no explanation, but I am not complaining. It gets even better: on the blast I supplemented with 1600mg NAC daily, 1200mg TUDCA daily and 1200mg red yeast rice daily. Blood work, kidney and liver completely normal. Lipids, even better than before the blast. How’s that even possible? And just in case, yes, it was definitely dbol.

I’ll try to get to the point now. I now know I am not prone to estrogen side effects. Or acne. Or hair loss. Or high blood pressure. I am not the youngest guy anymore, I pin my trt subq, I do not wanna commit to injectable blasts, even if they are just 10 or 12 weeks.
Everyone, everywhere says you need a test base for orals or for whatever you do. But finding content with details about short oral blasts, where I already have my test base as trt, to funktion normaly, is not easy, at least not for me. My idea is 2 or maaaybe even 3 short oral blasts/year. I think I remeber iron yuppie talking about it being a great idea for people who tolerate orals well. Idea being for example gaining like 4 or 5 pounds each time, but retaining 2. Which would make roughly 6 lbs of muscle a year. No matter if I’m modest or realistic, i’d be happy with that. But is doing that potentialy very/extremely dangerous for kidneys and liver in the long run? From Nomad, as he always talks about dbol, I’d like to know what can I expect if I do the next oral blasts with exactly 30mgs a day again? I don’t wanna go higher if I don’t have to. And it’s really itching me to try anadrol for 4 weeks down the road. Thoughts and experiences here? Much more toxic and dangerous?

Edit: Also, stats are the other thread I started years ago. And are much better now.

Assuming your training methodology hasn’t improved greatly, your second blast won’t be quite as impressive, but still very noticeable.

While I was growing, I was always starting the next cycle stronger and bigger than I did the previous cycle. In other words, each cycle was a measurable improvement. And yes, I always got weaker during my “off cycle” time, just not as weak as the previous “off cycle” time.

Agreed here.

@Andedonia oral blasts are generally frowned upon but you’re on TRT so that’s far different than someone trying to maintain natural levels and use orals. What you’re doing is fine. The farther away from your baseline TrT bod you push it, the less you are going to retain with each subsequent go. Regardless, I see no issue with what you’re doing especially if it’s working.

@RT_Nomad, training methodology is something I could talk about but I’ll just write up my conclusion. Took me a long time in my life to realise, that DY/MM training style, with personal tweeks of course, is perfect for me. My strength dropped a bit after a “blast” but I stayed stronger than before. Probably the only way for me to improve on the next blast is the basic of all basic things, progressive overload. I am sure the strength is gonna go up, so I am hoping for a success. Especially that i’m successfuly “maintaining” now. Like I said, I am not impatient, I know it’s not gonna be the same with the same amount of dbol, but if I keep say 3 pounds the next time, I’m happy.

@blshaw, exactly a part of what I was hoping to hear, that it should be “less” frowned upon because I’m on trt. The other part, was hoping to hear, it should be relatively safe if I keep doing it right.
And yes, like you said, it worked. It worked differently, from all I expected, heard, read or saw with dbol in my life. I expected to get wattery, maybe even a wattery mess but thankfuly it didn’t happen. I was never a fan of changing things drastically for a cycle. I ate very clean, slightly above maintenance and my diet plan was ALREADY implemented. I now eat @ my new maintenance. Hoping what I kept, stays kept.

Anyone with thoughts in Anadrol? Specificaly, Anadrol on trt. I would do 50mg a day, if and when it comes to it.
