London Riots

I’d thought arson, assualt, and looting was evidence enough. I guess not.

Of course not.

Moral decay

Inculcated government dependancy running into the reality of “we’re running out of money.”

Angry, dysfunctional, self-entitled folks who’d burn their world down for both the sport of it, and looting rights.

I was hoping more for someone from England who knows the situation and isn’t blatantly biased.

You know…so not you.[/quote]

At this point its really got nothing to do with duggan. It was just a spark. This has been brewing for awhile.

Yes it stemmed from the cops killing a known criminal in North London on Thursday. Whether or not it was a good shoot, he was still a scum bag criminal who had charges for selling guns.
The riots on Saturday happened in the same area as the shooting, after a small vigil/protest outside the police station turned violent. The riots that are happening now are just mindless youths intent on stealing anything that isn’t nailed down and burning everything else. They have nothing to do with the shooting, though some bleeding hearts may say that they do.

The truth is that there was blanket media coverage of the rioting at the weekend which showed a slow and completely ineffectual police response, and plenty of looters walking away with high value goods. Obviously the kids saw this and decided that they could get themselves new widescreens etc with very little chance of repercussions.

What may not be apparent for people outside the UK, is that there is a whole generation of scumbags who are now in their teens/ early twenties. Its no coincidence that this is happening after 13 years of a left wing government that has meddled with society and created a class of people who have a ridiculous sense of entitlement without any understanding of work ethic.

These kids have had everything handed to them, and have been absolved of any responsibility in their life. Now with the economy being in a bad place, they are not having it as easy as before and this is their response. Seriously, the Labour government of Blair/Brown have a lot to answer for.

Yeah i know that. I’m mid twenties myself. I do believe that there is a large proportion of that age group who are scum though. More so then in previous generations.

I agree, but there’s no denying decent people in our age group are a minority nowadays.

I dont blame you for taking action but remember none of this is worth dying for. Make sure police know your not causing trouble.

Classic!!

This is because for decades now successive governments have had no standards as to who they allowed to immigrate into the country. Those areas where the rioting is taking place are full of immigrants from lawless third world hell holes. So should it be any surprise when their new home starts to look like their old home?

Sure looks like the white people are digging it. Blaming the immigrants doesn’t always work you know, as much as you love to do it.

Yeah, there are plenty of whites doing it too. So I can’t say it is a single race issue.
It’s funny though. All I’ve heard on the news over the past few days is talk of ‘communities’. Anyone who has spent time in London will know that there is a complete lack of community in the city, and this definitely has been caused in part by an essentially open door policy to immigration. Large parts of the city are made up of fragmented ethnic groups who do not interact with others. If there was less multi cuturalism and more integration then there WOULD be a sense of community which may have stopped a lot of the rioting to begin with. Lots of the kids have know problem destroying the city because they have know sense of belonging.

RELEVANT

Il be alright guys, by all accounts its quiet. But it kicked off quite late last night so we’ll see.

To be fair, they are probably too busy installing their new windscreens to be out rioting tonight.

The boys in Eltham have got it nailed down, no shit will be happening there tonight!

good stuff!

I don’t know if there is a media blackout, but the cops are going mental around w London, yet there has been no mention in the news.

Im watching BBC news atm, and its just showing yesterday and up north.

Enfield residents are taking a stand as well!
