Having worked with predominantly women my whole working life so far, I would find this unbearable.
Honestly, I think the most important thing here is setting ground rules and getting things off on the right foot.
The messes that people are talking about have a lot to do with social loafing, which seems much more prevalent among men than women. Once you are living with three women, they all think that someone else will clean it up. You need to get ahead of this and set up a rotation or ground rules for keeping things clean. This goes again for how food is going to be shared.
