My doctor says that I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in the early stage which can be reversed and cured. I’m currently bulking for the last 6 months. I’m only 5’9. My weight right now is 150 lbs with 20% body fat. My abdomen is swollen. I get meal plans from my trainer.

Can high carbs cause fatty liver along with too high calories? I’m wondering if this is common.

This alone would be a reason for me to stop having a coach, irrespective of anything else.

I was a heavy drinker for a long time (being a chef will do that) so liver health is something I take seriously.

Lowering carbs, especially simple ones, and losing fat are universally recommended. Some studies show a benifit from an IF strategy.

Supplement-wise I take SAMe, phosphatidylcholine, milk thistle, and curcumin. If biotest made an “L-well” supp, I’d be one of the first to buy it.

How did you lose 20 lbs and gain 2% in bodyfat in less than a day?
