Be a man and drink 12 eggs every day, and fuck what the skinny bitches say about why it won’t work. It’s done the trick for me, so fuck “studies”.
Hungry, quick question, do you drink these for convenience or do you believe that there is some benefit to raw eggs over cooked?
I believe Poliquin said that the bio-availability of raw egg protein is a fraction of that of cooked egg protein. Whether or not this is true, I don’t know.

Having drank 6 to 12 whole eggs on many occasions, I can say I truly do not enjoy it as much as simply frying them up or basting them.

This, along with the absence of any b12 absorption (or in the case or egg whites only, b12 loss), the mild possibility of contracting a food-born illness, and the fact that protein powders are just as convenient as raw eggs (if not more so) leads me, personally, to choose cooked eggs over raw.

Just remember that there is a difference between raw eggs and pasteurized liquid eggs.

I use the Egg Whites Int’l product and love it. You don’t have to worry about the Salmonella/avidin issues since the eggs are pasteurized.

Do the beno tabs really work?

The excessive gas is one of the worst aspects of this lifestyle.

After some research, I pose a question to the thread:

Is it worth it to buy egg whites vs cracking 6-12 eggs a day?

Large eggs are usually on sale for a dozen for $.99 .

You can also buy 3-5 dozen eggs a week, crack them all at once, and add omega 3 eggs for the yokes.

Just some ideas.

I eat a few dozen eggs per week cooked. Any more than that - I get sick of them. It’s easy to just grab a carton of pasteurized eggs, pour some into a glass and drink it. Takes 30 seconds to down 48 grams of protein. You have to weigh convenience, price, nutrition, goals, etc.

Pasteurized eggs work for me.

I watched Hungry4More chug 24 raw eggs in like 3 minutes, it was disgusting yet epic.

To the guys that are getting egg whites at walmart, is it egg-beaters are something else?

Just hard boil a shit load of them, and put them back in the fridge.

I grab 2-3 eggs every time I go downstairs. Does it sound as “HARDCORE”, no, is it just as effective as Im eating 12+ cooked eggs a day along with regular meals…yes.

Egg whites:

$3.50 for 96 grams of protein.
Has no yolk, therefore no healthy fats, good cholesterol, gets digested more quickly since it is lacking fats to slow down the absorption rate, has less [clean, quality] calories…OR…

Dozen large eggs:

$0.99 for 72 grams protein.
Has a yolk, therefore more clean calories, good cholesterol and fats, the food is in its natural state.

Oh, and this FWIW:

“In a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, researchers evaluated the effects of daily consumption of whole eggs on the ratio of LDL (bad) cholesterol to HDL (good) cholesterol, and phenotype (the way an individual’s genetic possibilities are actually expressed) in 54 children (8-12 years old) from this region. A month of eating 2 eggs daily, not only did not worsen the children’s ratio of LDL:HDL, which remained the same, but the size of their LDL cholesterol increased-a very beneficial change since larger LDL is much less atherogenic (likely to promote atherosclerosis) than the smaller LDL subfractions. Among children who originally had the high-risk LDL phenotype B, 15% shifted to the low-risk LDL phenotype A after just one month of eating whole eggs.”

So, whole eggs are about 3x cheaper, more calories, easier to digest…winner winner chicken dinner, whole eggs by knockout.

To those asking me why I drink them raw…have you ever tried eating 12 cooked eggs in 60 seconds? No? Yeah, that’s why. And I don’t put much stock in all the worry-warts saying “ZOMG you have to cook them!!!”

But hey, if people wanna stay small and weak, that’s their business. But please quit spreading these skinny-person bullshit rumors, and stfu plz.

Jonny Bowden recommends eating raw eggs because the yolk gets the least amount of oxgyen that way which keeps the cholestrol from being oxidized. He also claims one study said that only .03 percent of 69 billion eggs produced annually are contaminated.

It’s safe, it’s quick, I think I’ll keep eating my eggs raw.

Mine sometimes carries Egg Beaters brand (it says it’s just whites), sometimes “All Whites” and then sometimes their own Great Value brand. All are under $4/carton.

Yeah, the stat I read was 1 out of every 30,000 eggs has is contaminated. Besides, a shitload of the eggs are likely to contain trace amount of salmonella, which gives your body a chance to build up an immunity to it without ever actually getting sick…so that way when you get one of the contaminated ones, you’re all good.

You’re both quoting the same study: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6T7K-415R450-6&_user=848594&_coverDate=10%2F01%2F2000&_rdoc=1&_fmt=high&_orig=search&_sort=d&_docanchor=&view=c&_searchStrId=1287596238&_rerunOrigin=scholar.google&_acct=C000045763&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=848594&md5=562f7be86d61d83b46ae6e6cc896efaa

Keep in mind that’s still over 1 million contaminated eggs.

That’s probably why I never caught the HIV either

So the egg white contain avidin which MAY lead to biotin deficiency. That’s why you make sure your multi has biotin in it or eat the yolks too as they have the highest availability of biotin in it than any other foods.

And if i drank 6 raw eggs every day for the next fourteen years i MAY get sick ONCE.

Interesting…
