Lindsey Lohan vs. E-Trade

The world revolves around Lindsay.
Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade, insisting that a boyfriend-stealing, “milkaholic” baby in its latest commercial – who happens to be named Lindsay – was modeled after her. And she wants $100 million for her pain and suffering, The Post has learned.

I heard about this and scoffed, but apparently there was a reporter in the rooom with the ad people, and they were talking about LiLo and trying to think of skanky terms for her that could be used by the babies.

God I hoep she loses and that’s the god damn stake to the heart for her … she’s such a scum bag

The trashier she gets the more I wanna bang her.

THIS.

Holy shit.

But more on-topic, she probably needs the money bad. Does she have any work lined up at all these days?

I’d prefer to bang the milkaholic baby, just sayin.

You said LiLo, wow…

LOL, yeah I heard about this the other day. She says Lindsey is a name that is specific to her alone, like Oprah or Madonna. I know hand-fulls of women named Lindsey and none of them were named after her. The only way this case would have any validity is if e-trade made a series of commercials that poked fun at her. But it’s good to know whenever she hears “-aholic” she thinks of herself, hahaha.

meh just give her some booze and she’ll forget all about it.

While I have not seen the spot I do know that celebrities have only their name to live off of and if someone tries to make money from using that name then they certainly have a right to be upset about it. Again, I don’t know the specifics but I bet they will all come out in court.

Yea, I know none of us like her but fair is fair whether you like the celebrity or not.

Watch the commercial - they simply say have a “milkaholic” babay named “Lindsey” (according to google she speels her name Lindsay not Lindsey anyway). According to the lawsuit Lindsay Lohan believes she has single name recognition like Oprah and Madonna. She must be out of money and her lawyer must be trying to make a name for herself. I hope e-trade doesn’t settle this bs lawsuit.

Here’s a thought for ya Lindsay, don’t be a dumb bitch. You’re using your stupid behavior to sue someone. Put down the bottle, put a few pounds back on, and maybe you’ll give me a hard-on again.

I’d so hit it…

but then she’d sue

Also the Following people have single name recognition:

Arnold
Pele
Lebron
Madonna
Oprah
Maybe like 5-10 more people tops.

Lindsay fucking Lohan? Get real. If the judge doesn’t throw this case out the world will be enveloped by a black hole

I miss that Lindsay! She was so cute/sexy, and actually had potential to be a great actress. It’s too bad her parents are completely fucked up. I honestly feel bad for her more than anything, she’s become a trainwreck.

No? Even if I didn’t disagree entirely on this point, it’s moot anyways because the name “Lindsay” is in no way socially synonymous with “Lindsay Lohan” without her image associated to it. Her case should have just as little weight to it as any woman named Lindsay who happens to be an alcoholic, because it’s equally as ridiculous for any of them to instantly assume the commercial meant them. Even if there was evidence that she was used as inspiration for the creative process, I still don’t think that would hold much legal merit because they don’t add any association to her in the commercial that isn’t applied to anyone with the same first name.

But I’ve been sickened by the decisions of our court system before so…

You know, Im not one to follow the lifestyles of the rich and fashionable but I actually agree with what youre saying here blue. I often feel pity for these young stars; Hollywood is a cruel and fickle world indeed. These young uns are thrust into the limelight all-too-quickly, at a too young age, given access to ungodly amounts of cash and then expected to conduct themselves in exemplary fashion. Sure, some make it through none the worse for wear, but IMO many more become casualties of a system that cares little for their well-being and is all-too-quick to dump em to the curb when the almighty buck speaketh so.

No idea about her parents but ultimately I feel sorry for Lohan and some of her compatriots-in-stardom. And Ill be damned if she didnt have the sweetest eyes and freckles that would charm me nekid.
