No, you’re completely ignoring the fact that your “solution” isn’t a solution at all, and until something better comes along, contraception and education are the best bet we have.

Just because you feel put at ease by the law stating that it shouldn’t be done, doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. If it were that convenient, we wouldn’t have rapists and murderers.
I didn’t put forth a solution. I saying that killing a tiny human is still killing a human. Killing humans is either wrong or it’s not. It really is that simple. If you have to sodomize basic logic and reason to have a point, you probably don’t have one.
Pro-life “solution” = Make it illegal. Done and dusted, we can ignore the problem now, the law will take care of the people breaking the law!

 • People like sex.
 • Sex feels good (virgins and hymens notwithstanding).
 • People, for the most part, lack impulse control.
 • Desire for sex dulls basic reasoning skills and the concept of consequence (i.e. sex might lead to babies).
 • Ergo, people will have sex.
Hmmm, the number 1 cause of pregnancy is fucking. If you cannot handle the consequences of fucking, then don’t fuck.
There are plenty of methods the avoid pregnancy, but if they fail tough shit, you don’t have the right to kill cause your an idiot.

Abortion should be illegal because it kills human life, not because we want to take the fun out of fucking.
It’s life or death issue, not a ‘fucking is wrong’ issue.

Mwuahahahaha…

I shall get back to that…
Most likely with more sodomized logic…
Just because it hurts it does not mean that someone is fucking you.

Srsly
Why did you ruined this relatively clever reply with a “srsly” that make you sound like one of my student ?

srsly ?
I think many a folk around here would benefit from being a student of yours…

We (those against this argument) feel that it’s naive to assume that people will avoid fucking because they don’t want a kid, just like it’s naive to assume that a woman will stop eating because she doesn’t want to be fat. The people who manage to do so are the exception to human self-control, not the majority.

Then sterilize the majority.
For the good of the specie.
the human self-control genes should prevail.

I think I’ve beat to death why I’m against mass decision making.

you can always sterilize them one by one.

Oh no, the evidence to the contrary is prolific on this thread.
Is making it legal to abort your child the same thing as forcing someone to abort their child? Are you actually making any decision for that person? No. They are free to do as they choose. They can keep it or abort it; I am not making a decision either way for them.

That’s worse actually. You may be not making any decision for that person, but you are making a decision for all of us.

Or…we could easily also phrase it this way:

Is making it legal to club to death your two year old child the same thing as forcing someone to club to death their two year old child? Are you actually making any decision for that person? No. They are free to do as they choose. They can keep it or club it; I am not making a decision either way for them.

I know I’m not directly addressing your mass decision making question but nonetheless…my point above stands.
I understand that’s your reason for validating your mass decision-making. All I’m saying is that no one is forcing a mass-decision, such as the one mentioned in the post I was responding to.

You make it ok the kill, and therefore force all of us to live amongst killers, in a society who now routinely kill its own members.

last time i checked, a change in the law was a change for everyone.

And what this has to do with me?

Do you think the mass decision made laws in regards to violent rape should be re-visited in order to assess their validation?

How about bank robbery?
The laws allowing banks to rob everyone should definitively be revised.

I’m not saying anything about that. All I’m pointing out is that it is wrong to state that legalizing abortion is mass decision making. It is not. That’s all I’m saying. I didn’t say anything about the morality of mass decision making; only that abortion legalization is not it.
