šŸš“ā€ā™€ļø Lifters Not Lifting (Share Your Hobbies!)

Thank you! All of my life and I’m still learning more about archery every day. It’s been a lifelong adventure with a bow and arrow.

Is she a Belgian Malinois?

Yes! She is a rescue Mal from American Belgian Mal Organization. A lot of folks get these wonderful pups and just don’t know how to stimulate them and keep them balanced and happy. They are wonderful companions. They love hard and play hard!

The good ole string slap! Your draw length is not properly sized which forces your elbow to lock out and getting your forearm in the strings path. Easy fix and they also have wrist guards.
Those sting!

She is beautiful! I have tossed around the idea of getting a dog, and Mals seem amazing. But they may not be the best first dog. I do not think I could keep up with one! Hence why so many rescues are full of them. I am glad she found her human.

I’m not sure what my highest scrabble word is…it was about 130 or so points…it was probably an 8 letter word that covered two triples word scores…it may have been quixotic but I dunno lol.

Reading wise, I’m mostly listening to various audio books right now.

It looks like you have split leaf philodendren leaves in water. Will they root that way? I have never tried that.

Good eye! My philodendron is pretty big and actually looks healthier when I prune it.

But then I thought, why not put those gorgeous stems in water? It won’t propagate like that, but it’ll look really pretty for a couple months.

There’s a lady on YouTube (Plantarina) who does awesome plant-related tutorials and I saw her recommend that. It’ll last longer than a vase of flowers.

Nice! Feel free to share some of your drawings if you’d like — it’s awesome to see how talented everyone is here.

Is there a book you love so much you’ve read it more than once?

Metal! I probably have musical taste more similar to your grandma. Lol.

When I was in high school I went over to my boyfriend’s house for family game night. And it just so happened that I could use all seven of my tiles to spell the word ā€œreceiptā€ — it was on that star in the middle of the board which is a double word score and my boyfriend was so mad at the time because it was the first word to be put down on the board, so there was some type of bonus (can’t remember).

But he threw a fit! And it still makes me laugh to this day.

Audiobooks are so convenient! But they’re kinda pricey too.

I googled it after I ask.
It says it is possible with rooting hormone. May have to try it.

Loved running around in the woods with my PSE recurve. I mean, I would’ve starved if I’d had to rely on the amount of meat I harvested, but it was a good time.

If you’re able to make it work, let me know! I’d love to see it!

The YouTuber I was watching said there are easier ways to prop those — but even if your stems don’t root — it’s still a really pretty display.

Getting into gardening in my small backyard lately.
I also dabble in woodcarving and keep a couple of simple aquariums.
