That depends on your injection schedule, that is why it is such a hard question to answer.
Lets say ED?
Well if you’re doing QD injections then you’re going to saturate your receptors. Your FT is consistently going to be higher. It makes no sense to me why anyone would want to do that, unless they have extremely low SHBG, which they might have even given to themselves from injecting so much.
I used to be a big fan of dosing multiple times per week with long esters. I was around when the Canadian study came out that got it all going. It was 2x subcutaneous injections of T per week and that kept peak and trough levels within physiological range throughout the curve. So of course this caught fire.
A lot of our guys switched. Did it for a while. Tons of them switched back, saying they did not feel as good. I think this is because of insulin sensitivity and there is some literature supporting my thoughts. For some reason consistently high free T levels typically has more side effects long term.
Letting your free T climb and then fall back into range works much better long term, from what we have seen.
I think to make a QD injection schedule work you have to take tiny amounts, like @systemlord
To where as letting your t rise and fall a little in 5-7 day period allows for more wiggle room. Almost as if it gives your body time to recover from the androgen saturation, almost like people who cycle steroids time on and time off to keep their labs from going crazy.
Ok buddy I have to go to a HS football game Talk later.
@vonko1988
Try different protocols and dosages and when you find the one that has you feeling good and not having issues then you’re good to go.
@increasemyt @systemlord needs very little T to feel well, but I have his levels now without TRT and feel crappy.
Also I want to avoid this peaks and troughs because I’m sensitive to that and want to keep constant levels. Also I have very serious reasons to believe from what I tested that I metabolize testosterone very quickly, even the enanthate and Defy said there is some people that are like that. So basically I plan to maintain higher enough levels than now to feel better and also to keep them constant without the fluctuations. This seems that will work best for me at least in terms of feeling well
@increasemyt Also how to understand if certain dosage is too high long term?
For example I feel good at injectiong ED 22mg, total T is around 1000ng/dl, free t around 20-22 ng/dl. This seems like a perfect numbers. But how can we find out if its too high? HCT or other common TRT side effect?
I ask because like optimal values are different for everyone, I assume too high as well. That’s why I asked in the other topic about common symptoms of too high T.
I also don’t believe in what Winnie the Pooh is saying “The more, the better” and that every person has his own optimal values that is best at.
