Anyways i dont have time to explain what i said in more detail like you have so ima just leave this here. And you dont have to be a psychologist to know someone in mental, you just need to have common sense.

I respect your service, but again, your comment is basically nothing. It easy to stay on the side lines and say" training is a joke" you dont know what the training is, because you have never been through it. Do I agree with you that the police need more training? of course, all professions need more training. Does the general public consider itself policing experts when they dont have anything to base it on? , of course they do, and no amount of training will change that. Thats correct, but, you cannot make a claim/charge that someone is “insane” unless you are a trained psychiatrist. Common sense is indeed a valuable asset for working the street and that is the primary weapon in any profession. However, I find there is definitely a shortage in dealing with most people.
You have the right to think anyway you want to about the police, my mileage differs from yours.
