Your strength should lurch upwards with a caloric surplus and lifting. YOU will likely gain your lost muscle back with minimal fat gain (if any) so enjoy it while you can. As you pass 200 for the second time your body fat will probably be a lot lower than 25%.

I disagree with this. In my experience, full body training is much more anabolic than splits.
