Let's Discuss It

Stefanogym,
Your physique looks great. I admire the amount of work you put into the physical aspect of things. You can tell you also put the same amount of effort into the positive mental aspects as well.

It’s refreshing to be around positive people now and then eh?

Keep up the great work.

Edit: Your video… ROFL AT THE END! That shit made my day.

“Time for meditation”

time to get rid of the bodies in his basement, chanting “Life. Is. Beautiful.” in an eerie monotone.

Bah…

Some people might not see a need for ‘meditation’, or any other metaphysical concept.

Some people also do not see a need for working out.

This guy has done nothing to deserve any of your bashing whatsoever. He has a good physique, he posted all the required shots, uploaded a video, and has been nothing but nice. Why the hate?

Overall you look really good. I think your back is your weakest point but good job nonetheless.

nothing bad to say here…good job overall.

What are your lifting stats?

And if you don’t mind me asking, what is the point of doing 1 rep at a time? To me this is different than doing a single, where doing a single would be the most weight you can do for 1 rep. Doing the deadlift the way you do just puts less stress on the muscles.

Enough with all of the hippy talk, it’s weird…

give it a try, keep a buffer, it must not be your real 1 RM, but not even far,
it’s very intense…with that weight I could hit 2 perfect reps in a row no more, and then game over…while so doing I have 8 reps, 1 each minute, and so an overall bigger poundage and stimuli…
of course it is not the whole workout… I also did 2x8 (conventional sets) at the snatch deadlift , and romanian deadlifts and 1 legged good morning

I organized the cycle like that though

wk1 4x6 2’ r.i.
wk2 5x5 2’ r.i.
wk3 6x4 2’ r.i.
wk4 8x3 2’ r.i.
wk5 8x2 2’ r.i.
wk6 8x1 1’ r.i.
wk7 8x1 1’ r.i.
wk8 8x1 1’ r.i.

always keeping a buffer obviously, getting closer to the real maximal repetition only the last week of the cycle

I use this scheme also for other muscles… bench-row / chin ups-militry press / squat

accessory movements: incline bench-1 arm row / pull ups (different grips)-close grip bench / front squat, bulgarian squat

on the accessory movement i stay on 6-8 reps…usually 2-3 sets each movement

I work then rotator cuff and the core, even being at home it is difficult having heavy wood chops for example… but soon!!![/quote]

Fair enough dude.
If that’s what you like doing and you make progress than by all means…

If you feel like you progress stalls just go for maximal weight for maximal reps. Get some chalk if you for your grip and eventually straps when you’re grip becomes the limiting factor.

I’m not too keen on the idea of doing 8 reps with (for arguments sake) 85-90% of your 1rm with a minute in between reps is superior to doing slightly less weight for 8-10 reps with no rest. Which provides more stimulus is debatable (apparently). Just my opinion though.

Nice work on the physique. I want to see you at 200!

200 kilos on the deadlift? yes I want it too and it is a goal related to training

200 lbs as body weight? I think I would like to see myself just for a while like that, but it is not my first desire actually, I have many more, not related directly to my aspect or training

Actually my favorite body weight in pound would be 180 pds repped… a look similar to Frank Zane to intend.
Maybe one day I will challenge myself using the power of my mind to widen my clavicles as well ehehheh

Thank you for appreciating my work :))))))))))))))

Actually is more than 90%

95%

by the way we need to try things before rejecting, because otherwise we would never know, and actually the most important thing is the mental approach…that means, if you believe that stuff will make u improve, it will, If you do not believe so, well it will not be effective

Thoughts become things, this is the basic principle of life for me and it is what I believe in.

What weight are you moving in the video?

Im not sure if you are suggesting that I try your method or just making a general statement but seriously look at my back and look at yours…

Your bodyfat is much lower than mine and my back is much more detailed. Alas, this is not about what I look like. I think your method is holding you back. No matter how much you menatally visualize your back growing, the fact remains that your back needs maximal stimulation to grow in addition to food.

Honestly for what I can see on the back You have an advantage over myself that is your clavicles are wider, but I do not like to go into comparisons because that is not the reason why I workout, actually I changed this during my life, awakening and becoming conscious…

There is no real separation, we are all the same, all beautiful beings, and we should perceive ourselves in this way, instead of disconnecting and having negative thoughts about ourselves or others, that actually hold us far from realizing our potential and desires

I was moving 385 pounds in the video though

some more just to share :)))))))))))
no competition
I don t like it

We have everything within ourselves, what others do does not affect our outcomes unless we believe it!!! :))))))))))))))
