I don’t get them because everybody I know who does feels like crap for the next two days. It’s not supposed to happen, but it seems to. I figure if I am going to feel like crap, I might as well just have the damn flu.
The flu doesn’t scare me, the noravirus, astrovirus, and rotovirus those scare the hell out of me. Having had all of them at one point and some several times, I wish they would just kill me. Because death is better than feeling that bad.

On top of that, we (human individuals) hardly ever get the flu. I went from 15 years old until 31 without ever even catching a cold. I’ve had the flu for sure once since then, maybe twice. 48 years old-14 years as a kid =34 years and I’ve had the flu maybe twice in that time vs 34 hit or miss injections that are a crap shoot as to weather they could actually harm me? No thanks, I’ll take my chances vs nature.

Flu vaccine is as safe as it gets. I take it because due to all the patients that I see I get the flu every year and I don’t want to be sick for a couple of days.

I’m very concerned about what I ingest however I’m much more concerned with something injected into my body than I am something ingested. Supplements ARE regulated. Any supplement you get has to have the ingredients stated so the consumer knows what they are taking. It’s much more difficult to find out (maybe impossible under the guise of proprietary) the components of a vaccine. I’m pretty sure there are ingredients in vaccines that would not be permitted in supplements.
