Don’t you think it is cruel and unfair that there isn’t even a ramp for those golfcaddy kind of things fat people ride on…they should sue the gym!
Not only does Bally fitness at Bay/Bloor in Toronto have giant escalators going up unto the gym, they also have escalators in the gym itself between two floors of cardio equipment.
And worse, the stairs around around the back out of the way. And still worse, they are the narrow escalators only one person can fit on and everybody stands, like their legs stop working when they get on an escalator, so you often can’t even walk up them.

LOL I’ve seen it. Don’t tell me that is the gym you go to.
Thats the gym I go to.
Sorry, its the only gym around that I could get in for under $40 a month. It also has multiple locations and its close enough I can squeeze workouts in over lunch hour.
I found one hardcore weight lifting dungeon called Mack’s gym but as it happened he was losing his facility and hadn’t found a new place yet so I couldn’t join there. Fucking shame too, that dude was awesome.

That’s the 24 Hour Fitness on Midway Drive in San Diego. The escalators also service the numerous other business on the second level of the complex, including the gym.
Although, those lazy asses certainly could take the stairs.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
