I’m try to lose some body fat and i eat a high protein, low cal diet combinded with working out and a little cardio… but am so hungry at night…what the hell are some good stratergies to break this habit of late night binge eating…or what are some good foods to binge on ?
Binge on green vegetables and see how fat you get. Eat more during the day or spread your meals out so you aren’t hungry at night looking around for crap to eat.
cottage cheese and natural PB. Just make sure to STOP eating the natural PB after a serving.
My late night eats are always low carb and high protein. I usually eat cottage cheese mixed with whey and PB.
I mix up a couple scoops of casein protein powder, a little cottage cheese, a teaspoon of natural peanut butter and a TBSP of ground flax. It’s surprisingly filling.
I would say you might want to check your calories, you might not be eating enough, even though your goal is to lose some fat. You might need some more fats in your diet. Also, check your fiber and water intake. Lastly, limit any shitty food around you at night.

Yeah man this is exactly what I like to have before going to bed. Definitely keeps you feeling full enough to fall asleep no matter what, I think the very slow absorption properties of the casein protein coupled with the satiety giving (healthy) fats that make this so clutch. Another great variation can be made by replacing the cottage cheese with plain yogurt and adding some chopped almonds.
