Land of the Free

I’ve mostly had bad experience with police and generally don’t like them. In NJ, they make over 6 figures on average and abuse their power. You guys have PBA cards in other States? You know, the ones that let you break the traffic laws without getting punished?

That being said, I respect peoples right to protest but if you’re purposely breaking the law expect to get arrested. Why the fuck would you resist arrest if you’re purposely breaking the law? It seems most of the excessive force happens when people resist. You’re forcing the officer to use some extra amount of force when you resist. They want to break laws make their statement but don’t want to get punished for it. It doesn’t work that way.

I have a question:

If I were to dress up in a dew-rag and jeans that hung half-way down my ass, wander over to 140th and 8th ave in Harlem where the 40Wolves hang out, and start shouting “this sidewalk is MINE, TOO!”, how long do you think it would take for some homie to come out of his hidey-hole and stick a shiv in me?

I have another question:

How is this any different?

A man who sticks his hand into a meat grinder isn’t brave, he’s masochistic. If 100,000+ documented civilian deaths in Iraq or “the war on drugs” isn’t enough evidence as to the violence of the state, then a couple of arrests for dancing aren’t going to change anything.

Plenty of video exists of governments pounding the crap out of their citizens with all manner of weapons up to and including TANKS, and if that evidence isn’t enough to convince the average cop sympathizer that they are mere thugs, then a video of some people trying to get arrested for dancing at a memorial isn’t going to.

A BOOM is hereby awarded to this man.

…and that pretty much wraps things up.

Even the UN admits that 90%+ of deaths in Iraq are caused by insurgents. How is this evidence of ‘the violence of the state’?

So you’re against governments? You would’ve really enjoyed the early days of the French revolution then. No dictators, no government, just armed mobs roaming around beheading people and so forth. Sounds great. Problem is it degenerates quickly into dictatorship. From tyranny of the many to tyranny of the one. So whilst it might be great for a society to be in a state of civil war and without food, essential services, employment etc it can’t last forever. All good things must come to an end.

update

Bump. Just wanted to let everyone know Adam Kokesh is okay. Phew! I thought he was going to have a nasty bruise on his bum but he said on RT channel that he wasn’t hurt so I’m very relieved. (end sarcasm)

NOTE: When a large body of people acting in concert with each other break the law and then begin resisting arrest people get hurt…but not in this case unfortunately. Hopefully a lesson here for the OWS mobs. Society is falling apart and there is only a thin blue line to hold the mobs at bay.
