About to head home and will check the syringes. I know I was doing 0.5 ML per injection which is 100 mg. Will double check in a bit.
Anyone see anything wrong with me taking like .25 of my arimdex and then throwing it in the trash to immediately lower the E2 a bit? Can tell I’m holding water and nips are puffy.
Ok so I am using 1cc syringes and was filling it to the 0.5 mL line to achieve 100 mg per dose. 10 markers between each mL. Makes it easy to measure once I finally figure out how much to put in.
And my HCG dose is 30 units twice a week. Keeps the marbles going.
MG to mL pretty sure I will need 2.25 mL per shot to achieve 45 mg per injection and 160 mg per week.
Thanks for all the feedback so far everyone. Please keep it coming!
Much appreciated. Good to go on the dosage. I guess there is no right or wrong way I just have to figure it out. All I know at this point is my dose was too high and I was not injecting frequently enough. Everything else seems pretty normal on the bloodwork. I took .25 of my Arimidex to help E2 chill, and plan on starting the 45/46 mg EOD on Thursday. No AI going forward until after next labs which are on October 10th.
You’ve been a big help. Always open to more feedback from the pros.
If you did that it was silly. You should always have an AI on hand in case of emergencies. Getting a script written and filled can takes days to weeks. Go pull it out of the trash and put it in a safe place.
Have 2 scripts in the system ready to be filled whenever I need them at Walgreens. Hopefully now that I know what the heck I’m doing my E2 won’t skyrocket like it has in past. Really did not like how I was feeling lately. Could just tell I had too much T pumping through my veins. Kind of felt like I was going to explode. lol. Not comfy.
Also my TSH LH and FSH look like they are supposed to right?
I have additional thyroid tests that I should get back in a few days but does it seem like I can rule thyroid problems out? Was thinking that had something to do with my face flushing. (other than my T and E levels bouncing up and down like a freaking trampoline).
Also is it possible to tell by blood tests after someone has been on TRT for over 2 years if they are primary or secondary? Didn’t know what I was when I first started. All I knew was that my total T was in the 200’s and I felt crappy all the time.
I believe that would actually be 52 total as each line is a graduation of 2 so the third notch after 20 would be 26 or .26ml. For 46 he would need to go 1.5 line graduations after 20.
Correct but to make everything easier and probably a better starting point I’m going 40mg every other day. So filling it up to 0.2 mL on the dot. 140 mg per week.
Also I have never had high blood pressure. As of late my blood pressure has been pretty dang high…160/100 ish. Then some days its normal at 120/70 ish. I know some of it is stress but I’ve never had high blood pressure. I’m beginning to think that spiking my T and E so hard with my crappy regimine has also caused my blood pressure to spike.Hopefully it levels back to normal with help of new protocol.
You ever had them take it again just to verify the high readings? Yesterday at my doctors appointment I had a 160 reading also. 5-10 minutes later when he was trying to decide if he was going to make changes to my protocol he decided he was going to take it again. Instead of having me jump up on the bed he just had me stay in the office chair I was in and got a 130 that time around. Something to think about when you have those high readings may just be a small fluke or spike.
I bought a wrist BP monitor for the hell of it and it has remained relatively high. 150/90 ish. Then a little lower at night. I did bloodwork two days in a row. When I did my physical to send to Defy my BP was 120/78. I came back the NEXT DAY, same doctor, and was at 190/100. Almost certain it is just related to anxiety because like I said I’ve never had high blood pressure in past. Not going to lie I am still experiencing slight dizziness and virgo. Think it’s all anxiety related over being so unbalanced, but don’t like seeing the numbers creep that high regardless.
Yeah I hear ya, it made me nervous also when he said he didn’t like it and that I was at 160. My doctor also tends to do it different then what I am used to. He has me relax my arm on his while he is taking it and for some reason I cannot seem to relax it. I think its relaxed and he is keeps telling me that I’m still holding it in the shoulder but doesn’t seem to register with me. I think he is giving me performance anxiety for taking my blood pressure lol.
