Hi all new poster here.
Firstly Id like to say that I am from the U.K. so my spelling of certain words is a little different to most of you guys over the pond.
I?m studying for a PhD at university and I?m in the fantastic position of having full access to a mass spectrometer. So as you can probably guess I?ve been testing all the gear I buy and weeding out the scammers.
Recently I purchased 200iu of Ansomone rhGH. I got this straight from the supplier and it arrived as expected in the box with the correct security measures. I am 100% certain that it?s a genuine product. Don?t ask me why but I ran a sample through the mass spec. When I got the print out I checked the ?finger print against 3 different known hGH readouts or ?fingerprints?.
- Recombinant human growth hormone ?somatropin? (what I believed the product to be)
- hGH from a corpse (same as above but with extra peeks where pollutants, viruses etc have been evident)
- Met-hGH or Somatrem (This polypeptide is 1 amino acid longer that somatropin which is 191 )
I was amazed to find out that my Ansomone somatropin was not somatropin at all but somatrem I carried out the test again with a different sample? same results!
Somatrem is not real hGH and in clinical trials does not stand up as well although usually seem to work, however in certain cases somatrem elicits an antibody response. Occasionally the anti body response effectively cancels out any effect of somatrem. In one paper I read somatrem completely halted a childes growth. I will dig out the paper and post the journal details ect.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
