More meat, then one more piece of mozz!

STUFF IT BABY, STUFF IT!!!

STUFF IT!

Oh, yeah, don’t over stuff it-- leave a little room for the ‘pizzazz’ at the top

Add another scoop o’ meat to the top.

On tippy-top, add a spoonful of the tomato paste (I used Contadina garlic infused), then… two nice slices of that freakin’ sweet-assed applesmoked Cheddar cheese…

DAMMIT, I love that stuff!!!

CAN I GET A “SWEET-ASSED FREAKIN’ CHEESE!!” ??

FiNAL ZprinKAL, no??

I forgot to say (but it goes without saying) you’ll need a baking dish, casserole dish, or similar to bake the peppers in…

If you’re ambitious, you can add an aluminum foil sheet to the top of the peppers-- try not to let it touch the cheese, because the cheese will melt and stick…

If you’re using Corningware, just put the glass cover on.

Alternatively, just bake without covering, but you have to watch you don’t dry out the peppers…

Put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is totally melted and the peppers are soft to your taste.

VOILA!! Let them cool a few minutes before serving…

Fork in it.

Living away from home I had forgotten that food could look so good. This thread has saved me from having to face another meal of plain meat, with plain veggies, and plain rice. Thanks SteelyD.

I just wish I had of found the thread earlier, before I made my standard salmon with Mrs. Dash.

do you take requests?

I have some freaking ground turkey. I do it the same way each time, just cooked up with some onions, salt and pepper, maybe some basil.

do you have any exotic and wonderful recipes?

I love red, yellow and orange bell peppers! not a fan of the green for some reason.

ooooohhhhh will you take pictures?

OG Teaser ;)[/quote]

ah fella… that is so good!!!

and something I am definitely making along with that broiled steak.

I may also do a couple where I mix the ground turkey with some ground turkey sausage.

even more wonderful is you can freeze these babies!!!

I can make a bunch, freeze and make everyone at work jealous when I dive into one of these gourmet puppies.

Thank you!!!

So I followed OG’s link to this thread, and I think I got an erection reading through it… is this healthy?

(looks down at food on plate)… damn =/.

Being Italian I found the Anabolic Diet very difficult at first because I was so used to eating pasta and bread for dinner every night! But thank you Steely - you just made my journey so much easier!!! Everything looks so delicious :).

Hey — thanks! I’m glad you’re enjoying it!!. Your first post… I’m honored!! Welcome!

Yeah, Italian food is so much more than pasta dishes and bread with everything. I grew up with the same thing…

A lot of the dishes require some improv to make up for the starch— like the stuffed peppers without rice or the crabmeat without breadcrumbs (Italian style, of course)

Mangia!

Yeah it’s so funny, like pasta isn’t enough carbs on it’s own we have to add the bread with EVERYTHING too! I was fine until I hit 27 years old, then all of a sudden the carbs started catching up with me :). Those peppers you made look too good, I’m gonna try them out first. I’m looking forward to seeing some more of your recipes!

Yeah, I’m still working off years of ‘two starches’…
