Kids at the Mall

You know how some kids are absolute little shits at the mall? And to top it off, if you say something or even give a dirty look the parent will randomly go off at you?

Well, the other day I at the mall. There was this little kid running around pulling things of shelves and grabbing peoples baskets to spill the contents. It got to the stage where he actually bit this poor guy and drew blood. The guy shook the kid off, not very roughly either and was looking at his arm while the kid started bawling his eyes out. The moment the kid started crying, his mom rounds the corner, takes one look at the guy and says:

“WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BOY?!”

This is the part where you will no doubt be outraged. Read on.

He looked her dead in the eye, completely straight faced and said the following:

“Well, you son just bit me and drew blood. And I’m HIV positive.”

Then he turned around and walked off without so much as a glance back. I’m not sure the mother saw the huge grin growing on this guys face as he walked away, she was too busy bursting into tears.

The crying bit in the original was soooooo much more satisfying.

Version I read had the guy much more distraught, made for a more convincing bit when he tells the mom he’s got HIV.

I too have heard this before. It is better if they guy who got bit starts screaming and utterly freaking out, so first the attention seeking kid is perplexed, then the guy tells the mom his HIV thing, and the kids world goes up in flames as he sees his mom freak him out.
