Yep. Popeye’s biscuits didn’t get to ~300 cals each by being high in fiber.
And I would point out that the same biscuits are also served at Copeland’s Restaurant (the higher-end restaurant chain founded by Al Copeland, the guy who started Popeye’s). Not too shabby for a fast-food side item.

I live in KY, and my dorm at school is right next to a Popeyes. As in, like 15 feet away.
Raising Cane’s and Zaxby’s really shits on both these places IMO.

What part of KY you in? im in the Louisville area
I like KFCs extra crispy and mashed potatoes and gravy or the spicy by popeyes with fries. I haven’t tried the mac and cheese but their pot pie is pretty good. Anyone like eating their fried chicken with pickled jalapenos and hot sauce?

Same here. Parents live in Southern Indiana, and I grew up and spend a lot of time in the Louisville area.

While I’m not one to pass on ANY fried chicken, I’m a big fan of a Famous Dave’s BBQ joint we’ve got out here on Long Island. Chicken, Brisket, Ribs, and a zillion sides and corn bread (of course -lol). I could spend hours there

Ya Stu, for sure. There’s a Famous Dave’s over here. I ate there once and it was pretty great. A lot better than I expected from a chain BBQ. On the topic, I lean towards KFC. Though, I don’t think I’ve had either place in a couple of years.
I crave KFC original recipe about three times a year…and when I get it in my head that I could go for some then nothing can stop me…I simply must go there for my next meal.
I mean I can think about donuts, ice cream, even pizza, then just shrug and carry on with something different…but if the KFC takes hold I can’t resist.
