There are a lot of good things in his book, although he takes it a little too far.

I thought his book was pretty interesting. I wouldn’t say it’s all B.S. though.
I believe the companies do spread lies and deceit and try to debunk natural methods. Why? because they have to increase profits.
The last thing in the world they’d want is for everyone to be healthy.
Why? because healthy people don’t take drugs, nor do they need them.
Has anyone seen the latest drug commercial lately?
Stiff leg syndrome???
Come on now. It’s now a disease to have cramps in your legs?
I do believe their only motivation is money. Just as is the cholesterol medications they pedal around is the biggest money making scam in history.
Kevin Trudeau may sound a little crazy,or like a complete idiot.
But maybe we’re too closed minded to learn something new, from what we’ve been brain-washed to believe our whole lives by our wonderful government.
Kevin Trudeau wasn’t the first author to write a book about our health care system.
This has been happening since the 70’s when the FDA tried to gain control over vitamins and make them drugs.
The fact is we’ll never see a cure for a major disease in our lifetime because that would put them out of business.
I can guarantee that none of us will see any cures,in the form of drugs, in our lifetimes.

Maybe it’s because she had extensive damage done to her brain after having the tumor removed?
If you have cancer and are trying to cure it,you don’t do it after you’ve had radiation or plastic surgery.
Come on now.
Nice story though.

These drugs companies operate on money.
They have to increase shareholder value.

Third, what does the gov’t have to do with the profit motive? Yes, there are natural cures - a clean diet and exercise will fix a whole lot of issues for everyone that is mobile. The issue is that there is no money in it. If someone did come up with a diabetes cure tomorrow, it would spread like wildfire. Neither the gov’t or anyone else could stop it. People with the disease would move heaven and earth to get it.
I don’t think there is a conspiracy in the sense that there is a group of people colluding, and planning the next step in detail, but we do have a situation where three groups of very powerful organizations have an interest in maintaining the status quo.
The assholes in congress live off of corp donations. In return they are beholden to their corporate masters. You don’t get something for nothing. They influence strongly, if not outright control the actions of the FDA and other agancies.
The drug industry needs sick people. Without them they have no reason for existence. And most of what they come up with are bandaids for symptoms, not cures. To give them their due, however, they do help millions improve quality of life, and they are in business to make money after all. Also, if the cure is diet and exercise (as in many cases of diabetes) and people won’t do it, you can’t blame them for selling them a drug.
The food industry is selling us poison as fast as they can. Everything from high fructose corn syrup, to trans-fats, to god knows what else is in manufactured foods.
2 and 3 above feed cash to 1. 1 makes sure things stay profitable for 2 and 3.
2 and 3 feed cash to 1. The circle of corruption goes round and round.
“Restless Leg Syndrome is the latest example of what the book is about . RLS should be called GYAOTCS…” Get your ass off the couch syndrome".
This is basically true. The book, at its best, is Kevin Trudeau, the high school graduate (if that), repeating plain common sense widely known by pretty much everyone.
The program for Restless Leg Syndrome, to get limbs under control – get more exercise, mellow out, eat light and early, quit smoking, avoid alcohol and sleeping pills – is as old as the hills.
Again, yes, I know the government is evil and out to make you suffer. Kevin Trudeau has already explained that to me in between shilling for his pay website and endlessly gloating about writing the book “all by myself!”
What I want to know is what does he bring new to the table? He claims to be able to cure basically every disease.
Yes, if you have diabetes, leukemia, ADD, halitosis, dyslexia, and restless leg syndrome just put on a magnetic toe ring, send Trudeau $100, and chug some coral calcium and you’ll be cured of everything instantly.

Here’s some selected excerpts from Kevin Trudeau’s first Natural Cures book:
Quote:
21. AIDS is one of the greatest hoaxes and deceptions ever perpetrated on the American public. Books:
Quote:
20. Do not eat pork. It is a highly toxic, diseased food. A pig eats anything and everything, including its own feces. The meat is laced with disease and viruses. The human body virtually goes into toxic shock by consuming pork; the digestive system works nonstop in overdrive for up to eighteen hours trying to breakdown (digest) and neutralize it, not being able to completely digest it because it?s so toxic. Going off pork can increase energy and change attitudes. Try it.
Quote:
? Tap water ? This water contains many toxic chemicals (chlorine, fluoride, etc.). Chlorine causes scarring of the arteries, which leads to arteriosclerosis (LDL attaches cells to walls). People drink, bathe, and shower in tap water and swim in chlorinated water, which is why heart disease is so prevalent today.
Quote:
Stay away from electric tumble dryers. They?re electric and create electromagnetic fields (massive amounts of positive ions), which suppress the immune system, and cause depression and anxiety. Clothes are also charged, so it?s better to wear clothes that are line-dried. You?ll feel emotionally and physiologically better!
Quote:
Wear white. Colors affect energy. The closer you get to white, the more positive energy you bring into your energetic field. This may not be practical, but you will notice feeling much better when you do it.
Quote:
4. Eyes. Toxins can enter in through your eyes. Solar energy enters the eyes, but is not believed to be toxic. Decreased sun exposure leads to disease and imbalances. However, what are toxic are images, which cause negative emotions. For example, today we are exposed to more than 1,000 times the amount of negative images than we were just twenty years ago and 10,000 times more than seventy-five years ago. And this causes acidity in the body.
Quote:
“Resistance Exercise ? This includes weight lifting and resistance machines. This is unnatural and can lead to disproportional sizes and strengths of soft tissues, which causes decreased flexibility leading to a decrease in the flow of energy through the body. Still, it?s better than nothing at all.”
Quote:
“7. Cellular Exercise ? There is only one type: Rebounding (i.e., jumping on a trampoline). This affects every cell in the body (simultaneously strengthens and stimulates), which causes an increased movement through the lymph system, stimulating every cell?s ability to eliminate toxins and increases the strength and vitality of every cell in the body. You only have to jump five minutes a day. This increases oxygen to your cells, which leads to a decrease in cancer cells (they can?t live in an oxygen-rich environment). Increased oxygen leads to increased alkalinity, where disease and illness cannot exist. Increased movement of the lymph causes an increase in the elimination of toxins. This cellular exercise also opens up the channels of energy, leading to an increase in life force and vitality of the cells, a decrease in acidity, and a decrease in the suppression of the immune system, which means there is less chance of disease.”
Quote:
"A healthy person has no body odor, no bad breath, no foot odor, nor urine or stool odor, etc. (i.e., no toxins coming out); "

Consume absolutely no diet food or diet sodas. Diet sodas have been called the “new crack” because they appear to be so physically addicting. They actually make you fat. The reason they are promoted so heavily is because people become physically addicted to them and they are cheaper to make than regular sodas. I did an interesting experiment with people who drank diet sodas on a regular basis. For two weeks they replaced their diet soda with regular high-calorie sugar sweetened soda. Amazingly, no one gained any weight. Actually, even more shocking, 80 percent of the people lost weight. One person lost seven pounds! This was stunning to me. Diet foods fall into the same category.

Cthulhu… you seem to side with Trudeau arbitrarily just because he criticizes the government and medical establishment. While many of us (myself included) share your cynicism toward medicine, any reasonable person can see through Trudeau’s scam. He’s just taking advantage of the public’s distrust toward doctors to make a buck.
Did you know that his miracle “coral calcium” supplement turned out to be nothing other than plain calcium carbonate, and that it was found to be contaminated with LEAD? The man is sick charlitan from hell. His book isn’t interesting or informative- it’s just a 500 page rant about the FDA. And all of his claims are either already well known facts reported by others or stupid shit that is just obviously completely made up and false. You’d have to be totally unsophisticated not to see right through this.

I agree.
Doctors in England can write a prescription for fish oil to their pateints who suffer from high cholesterol, etc.
In America doctors cannot reccomened fish oil.
Why can’t they? Because it costs those smaller companies 800 thousand dollars to make it a drug. Thats money they do not have.

No,thats not what happened.
It was DR. Barefoots coral calcium.
And the FDA took away his license to sell supplements on tv because he was talking about calcium being a much-needed nutrient in the body when you have cancer.
So,in other words, according to the FDA,he was making a false claim because only a drug can prevent, cure, and treat a disease.
That means if I went on tv and said an orange can cure scurvy, a vitamin c deficiency, I’d go to prison because an orange is not a drug
I have read Kevins book and I do think it’s a well written book.
However,I also believe he takes it a little too far.
Nevertheless,I’d rather side with kevin or any other lying, crack pot who impetuously lies on tv about wonder cures, than to side with any two-faced drug company who sells their profound lies to the world.
Also, while we are on this subject, lets say his book IS a complete hoax; is misleading.
How is it any different than the drug commercials that say eating cholesterol gives you high cholesterol?
How is it any different than the drug
commercials that say the only way to treat diabetes is with drugs?
Is that not misleading or am I missing something?
Even with all these years, potentiating drugs, newer drugs, still no cure.
Oh,but sure they can clone animals…no cure.
They can invent cars that run on corn…no cure.
They can even build chairs with robot,life-like legs in China, but still,no cure.

Wow,you posted all the weird stuff in his book.
Awesome job!
Why not post all the good things he does advocate?
Consuming flaxseed/fish oil
Lifting weights,etc.
Juicing
Eating organic meat
Drinking fluoride free water
Disconintue use of refined sugar
Staying away from white flour
Staying away from hydrogenated oils
Alerting people about the “trans fat fee” craze. Showing them that bag of chips that says “0 grams trans fatty acids” actually has 0.5 grams of trans fatty acids; and how companies can put that on their goods since it’s under one gram.
I think he was one of the first people to say this.
He advocates consuming raw dairy
Hell,if you call all those things “crazy” than I guess I am guilty of being crazy.
Well put.
However,I’d have to correct a few things you said.
The assholes in congress accept so many bribes,I wouldn’t even trust any of them.
I believe the FDA have been caught offering bribes to our wonderful law makers.
Secondly, the drug companies don’t improve life.
Only in crisis situations they do.
In other words, drugs ARE necessary if you get into a car wreck.
However, drugs do not prevent or cure disease.
Drugs do not improve the quality of peoples life’s-what little quality they have left since the drug companies robbed them of their health and money.
Vioxx killing one hundred thousand people isn’t what I call safe.
Nor is kids overdosing on antidepressants and killing their teachers and parents what I call safe either.
If there was a cure for diabetes, the FDA would violently debunk the company selling it,and put them in prison because, once again, you cannot sell a drug without a license.
Drug companies would go out of business because they have to increase shareholder value.
They cannot increase shareholder value if they have no to very little sick people buying their cancer drugs.
I agree with most of what you’re saying though.
Great taste in books.
