It is because Beck doesn¢??t wear a Jock, he has little pink panties

Perhaps, but Beck’s “vagina” is bigger than KO’s dick. Fox News’ ratings are killing most if not all other media, and Beck did front a campaign to have a czar removed. You can try to knock him all you want, but he pulled the POTUS’ bitch card.
Your right  But Beck reminds me of the kid in school that ran his mouth until you wanted to meet him on the play ground , then he cried to the teacher

All Glen Beck is doing is giving public voice to citizens and information that the other major outlets will not cover. Hopefully this actually is only his FIRST scalp, as the huffingtonpost called it.

It is is undeniable that his show was directly responsible for the fall of Van Jones which not so much a credit to him, is in fact a credit to the truth. (This will no doubt make Bill O’Reilly green with envy) Does anybody think Jones would be gone if the truth wasn’t on Beck’s side? Like I say, all he’s doing is reporting and THAT is what has his opponents up in arms with all the usual smear tactics.

Well, I do have to give him credit, he broke the Jones story. What I wish I could know, is how many other journalists and news orgs. knew and sat on this information.

All of em. Do not doubt it.

EDIT: Think with me for a minute. Obama (or Jarret or anybody) announces a new czar and EVERY news organization in this country DOES NOT INSTANTLY dig up every possible piece of information on that person in the known world? No way. They all knew within hours what this guy was. Some of them I guarantee you knew who he was beforehand and also knew their cause would not be advanced by publicizing him.

Remember, media bias is about what’s NOT reported as much as what IS reported:

Sept 4: “Words on Van Jones = 0”
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/The-Van-Jones-non-feeding-non-frenzy-57271402.html

[i]From a Nexis search a few moments ago:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama’s Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, “Huh?” If you heard that that adviser, Van Jones, had apologized for a number of remarks and positions in the recent past, your response would be, “What?” And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line – otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.

Agreed. Where is FightingIrish to instruct us on how there is no leftist media bias?

The media was all too happy to run with the right-generated controversy, and non-issue, a “stay in school” speech. Yay us! Go team, go! Geeze…

This country is degenerating into a laughing stock cartoonish caricature of itself.

Keith struck a nerve with some of you eh? Beck is a clueless fucking idiot. I’m surprised even this forum would defend him.

I figure if you can find defenders of Obama’s policies on this here board, you’ll probably find defenders for just about anything. Drumroll, please!

They may not be perfect, but they’re far saner than anything the GOP has put forth. There’s really no choice.

I’m surprised that this would surprise you.

Quite a few of the posters here seem to think that Beck is some sort of genius or something. “Palin/Beck 2012” Can I get a “Fuck Yeah!”? They could hire most of Faux News for cabinet positions. O’really would make an awesome Secretary of State, dontcha think?

The modern right continues to surprise me. I mean, having to think about things is hard sometimes, but it doesn’t suck THAT bad.

The sad thing is Olbermann is calling Glenn a liar, just an uneducated dolt who doesnt rehearse. When I see stuff like this I really start to think that the media and the White House are in bed together to fool you into thinking that Barry O. is our savior.

Tha was vfucking good , i don’t watch Olberman , maybe I should
Can you type one single post without making a spelling or grammatical mistake?

You sound like you got hit in the head with a shovel.

I’m not a GB fan personally. I think he’s well-read and I think his heart’s in the right spot, but he doesn’t seem to apply his knowledge well. That said, please tell me you aren’t going to stick up for Olberman.

Onto other things for everyone else. While I do think there’s a liberal bias in the media, I think the greater bias is to the dollar. Fox is getting better rating than all the other news outlets because they’re selling a product (whatever you think that product might be) that viewers want to see. I don’t think Fox is the devil really, but I have a feeling that the other outlets aren’t burying everything in some evil conspiracy. Give them a juicy enough story against Obama that’ll get them viewers and they’ll play it. Odds are that all the networks are just playing to their audiences though.

Btw, Ryan, I just read this book called The Iron Heel by Jack London. You ever hear about it? It’s about a socialist uprising overthrowing a capitalist oligarchy. It drove me apeshit, but I think you’d really enjoy it. If you’re interested there are tons of versions of it you can download for free.

I don’t believe there’s a conspiracy wherein the networks have daily conference calls in an orchestrated effort to advance the left, but I disagree.

You say they would report what gave them ratings. Why aren’t they doing that now then as FOX eats their lunch. Even liberals in large numbers get their news from FOX because FOX actually reports every relevant story regardless of who’s ox they may gore. They were first up every time when there was a controversy involving Bush as well. Or McCain or Palin or anybody else. Don’t misunderstand me. FOX is heavily conservative, but it’s because of that that they are actually even handed with the news itself

I don’t believe there’s a conspiracy between the networks, buy they are driven by ideology until they are absolutely forced to grit their teeth and air something damaging to the cause. More or less depending on which network.

I understand what you’re getting at, but I think it comes down to the fact that they know they cannot out-fox fox. Therefore, they know that they have to play to the people that currently watch them, else they will go to John Stewart to get their news.
