I think its gonna be great. My only complaint is that they’re showing way to much on the commercials, they should leave some of it to the imagination, atleast until the flick comes out. I think people complaining about the CGI is odd, because people love the matrix and that is 99% CGI. Plus I saw a picture of him standing in front of his main squeeze and its cool because he just towers over her, it really makes you understand why he’s called the HULK. So, for that reason I think its appropriate

I thought Ferrigno makes a cameo appearance in the movie. For those of you who have seen it, is this true?

I know people that love the TV show would probably not like the Hulk movie but. People who read are a comic book freak or read the Hulk Comic book will like it becuase. In the comic verison the Hulk does get bigger and bigger when he gets angry and angrier. So how would a live actor play that part. CGI is the only why to do that. I think it will be a good movie if you are fan of the comic book but it won’t be good for those of you that like the TV show. I was a fan of both so I think I would like it.

Like you guys care.

I am giving my $.02 anyways.

I was a fan of the TV show.

chrisb71—Yes that DVD copy is a preproduction copy as far as the CGI is concerned. There are parts where you can see the Hulk in wireframe, or one part his pants are missing etc. Hopefully the actual movie is better. For those of you who say a person should of played the Hulk. Couldn’t happen! No one is big enough. The hulk is about 10 feet tall and well over 1000lbs, making CGI very necessary.

To show the size of the HULK here is a shot of the Hulk putting Wolverine through a tree with one hand.

How else could they portray the fact that the Hulk can pretty much jump into outer space if he gets pissed off enough? With Lou Ferrigno in green paint? I don’t think so. What bothered me at first was that the Hulk didn’t look naturally human, but then it hit me… HE ISN’T! It looks like it is going to rock!

I was a fan of the TV show and comic…I’ve seen it…it sucked…way to much CGI, it’s like a carton. But if that’s your thing…

Does he use Mag 10?

Somebody help me out here…

Is the guy who plays Bruce Banner the same guy who played a Delta Force guy in Black Hawk Down? You know, the one who was challenged about not having a safe weapon in camp and he sticks up his index finger and says… “this is my safety”

Looks familiar but I’m not sure.

B.

I think so (to answer BradTGIF’s question). Eric Bana was in Black Hawk Down, but I’ll need to watch it again to see if that’s his line.

Eric Bana (who’s Australian) is also the voice of the hammerhead shark in “Finding Nemo”. Which we saw last Sunday and man, what a great movie!

Brad yes he is in black halk down. I forget the name of his character. He was the bad ass of the bunch.

Gotcha…

Thanks for settling an inter-office debate!

Brad

Gotta agree with Patricia on “Finding Nemo.” Saw it last night with my wife and daughter (who will be 2-1/2 on July 11th). Kept her interest throughout the whole movie (a good feat for some one her age, 2 hours), but enough adultish humor to keep my wife and I interested. Good “awwww” factor, too.

brider:

You’ll appreciate the following then:

“Mine…mine…mine, mine, mine, mine” (I laughed HARD everytime the seagulls appeared on screen…)

“…fish are our friends, not food…”

“Wish I spoke whale…”

So many good lines, just a great script and characterization. Thoroughly enjoyed “Finding Nemo”. Also, some of the most beautiful animation. Every scene was like a painting.

Excuse the hijack, people. But this movie deserves to be seen!

Eric Bana played the Delta force fella with the " this is my safety" comment.

FYI for anyone interested.
