So does gluten digest fine for you if you just eat a bit each day, and avoid it at some meals, but if you did too much would it mess with you? And I’m assuming the processed stuff works out better then whole grains, etc.

One last question for now at least ;). I can’t really afford something like pepto pro, but would hydrolyzed whey be second best and combine that with bcaas?

Thanks Julien.
I would probably use some bcaa along with cyclic dextrin in your case!

I never had much of a problem with gluten tbh, most people would go apeshit if I wrote what I ate from the time I had my weight taken and the time I stepped on stage for my last show…!

Impressive as always. How long ago did you compete for the first time?
November 2012, as a light heavy, weighted in at 191, having eaten during that day and having actually done a skipload 2days before or something, so weight on stage was most likely around 187 after water cut off and all…which is the complete opposite of what ive done for this show… water was cut but weight went up after weigh ins lol

Great stuff Julien. Appreciate the details, and of course your honest appraisel of how you did, how you got there, and why your plans for the future are what the are. That’s gotta be one of the biggest things that successful people do. Be thankful for the successes, but realize that there’s always the next, larger challenge to face.

Poptarts always digest well. It’s because the secret ingredient is love

S

In. The long-range planning, the strategy, the details, the commitment…great stuff!

Obviously you are going about this all wrong, maybe you didnt hear about “4 weeks to a shredded bod!” that is on every magazine at the store. I would start there, it will save you from going through this plan of yours that is being measured in Years.

What are your favorite cereals?

Looking forward to this thread, Julien!

I, too, will be lurking and following this thread. Btw you’re a beast.

I was just wondering, would you mind posting some of your workouts? You don’t need to be detailed, I just wanna know how many sets you use for each body part and the main exercises you use.

Thanks man. This gives a lot of us a better idea of what it’s like for a top bodybuilder.

I have another question, come to think of it. How many years have you been bodybuilding?
