Hey bird, nice to see ya here.
I have thought about fasted cardio but i feel like sprints, hill sprint. and tire flips help more with my fat loss then cardio. I bet fasted cardio should help with the fat loss tremendously so i will try it soon.
Thanks bird.
Yer, well how about fasted sprints, hill sprints and tire flips?

Might give it try. Really don’t want to lose any muscle at this point because im already pretty weak so im being cautious.
Almost quit after squats because of the pain in my left lat. I couldn’t even walk for 5 minutes. Im still in pain but im icing it. Any other tips?
Happy with the PR and the weight/ waist loss. officially lost 10 pounds and 2 inches of my waist.
What happened with the lat?
Last week after a back session i came home and my lat was killing me. Like when i stretched it or reached for something. Put some ice on it and went back to training.
Today, i was doing my top set of 200x2 and on my 2nd rep it felt like my entire lat just collapsed, like it couldn't support the weight. Got away from the rack and couldn't stand for at least 5 minutes. Training after that was death because it was just a constant sharp pain. Now at home i cant even flip over in bed because of the pain. Standing is just unbearable.
Because of my schedule with lacrosse camps and such i have to bench tomorrow. I know i should take time for it to heal but i don't really want to. On the other hand if it doesn't heal in a week i wont be top form for my camps which could help me with my recruiting if i play well. I guess the best thing for me to do is to ice it and see if im good for tomorrow, but if not i'll take it easy.
Get it looked at. Not trying to scare you, but I tore my lat a bit like five months ago. It didn’t affect my lifting a great deal, but I had to manage a fair amount of discomfort for like a week or two. Any inflammation or tightness?
As of right now there is a little inflammation but nothing noticeable. As far as tightness goes i don’t know. I mean my shoulder has full range of motion if that helps. Any upper body movement strikes a pain.
Conveniently i have a physical tomorrow so i will make sure i get it looked at.

Using today and the rest of the week as a deload for a number of reason. Hit a PR on bench though. Plugged in 95x12 and that is equal to 137 which is infact a pr.
Went and got a physical today. Goal was not to pop a boner. Mission accomplished lol. Asked the doc about my lat and she said it might be partially torn. Said not to max on any lift till it heals. Ya right. Im going to take her advice and go easy on the weights so im okay for lax camp. Still will be trying to hit rep pr’s
Other bad news. My 2 best friends parents are accusing the other family son of pushing there son into smoking. Both got caught. Now they can’t hang out together which makes my life difficult having to blow one of them off every time.
Moral of the story- stay of the reefer.
Cheat meal tonight consisted of pizza and chicks.
Weight was down to 180.5 this morning which is awesome. Waist is 36.5.
I’m just makin all kinds of gainz ( hodge twins voice).

Nice work jtown. How good does a good sprint session feel. Must be the growth hormones.
Sorry about the thread hijack, but spar4tee; where are you going bro?? There have been a heap of posters that are ending their training logs for some reason??? What’s going on???

Bird- sprints felt good. Focused on driving my knee through the ground. Was pretty wasted after the session.
Don’t want to talk on Spar’s behalf but i believe him, and some other respected members are leaving because they don’t like how the site is run.

Good back pump. Will be using this assistance for a while now.
Tried to deadlift and the lat hurt really bad.
I guess the tear is in the lower lat because my assistance work didn’t bother me.
Morning weight : 181
Waist : 36 5/8
Maybe rack pulls might not of hurt the lat as much??
Don’t know why people are leaving still?? What are the mods doing differently now that is making everyone so angry???
